NETGEAR WiFi AC1200 Range Extender (EX6200)

    • Overcomes interference caused by my wireless cams and weak non-N router
    • It almost works as a second router.
    • Spoofing - If you use DHCP assigned addressing or mac filtering this router will frustrate the heck out of you
    • Easy setup, very good range, very nice router
    • Just get several long Ethernet cables and some cheap proxy routers to boost your wifi.
    • Fantastic Router, has been a great buy for my house as it was badly needed.
    • After fiddling with this thing for weeks - moving around the antennas, re-orienting the unit, trying different settings - I finally gave up and bought an Edimax portable travel router the size of a pack of gum at Fry's for $15, which turned out to work much better despite having no external antenna at all.(I read online that this unit can be flashed with DD-WRT, the free open-source router firmware, and turned into a full-function router
    • Best Router I ever had!
    • Also, it works great if you need a device that can serve as bridge between a Netgear AirCard 781S (also known as the AT&T Unite Pro) and a router capable of serving up more than 15 IP addresses at a time.
    • After some research, this router was the most highly recommended
    • This is an amazing router.
    • My WPA2 settings are pretty vanilla, but maybe it's a compatibility issue with the junky FV2200 router that my ISP provided, not sure
    • Oddly, it has NO wall mounting holes (for flush-mount) like many routers including other Linksys products
    • I know this is a bridge but was really hoping it would act as a router as well
    • I still like the router, but I can not give it 5 stars with this bug, otherwise I would.
    • This is the best router extender
    • Excellent WiFi extender for the lame modem/routers that Verizon and AT&T provide for wireless G4 LTE.
    • I love this router.
    • Good router for around the house
    • It basically moved the logical "router" to the middle of the house instead of at one end where it physically is
    • Excellent router coupled with dd-wrt
    • The worst is not the router, it's the technical support
    • We've been having trouble getting reliable wifi in two rooms of the house, despite trying several different centrally-located & expensive routers.
    • Again, your router must support the 5ghz band in order to do this.
    • Easy to set up and a good option if you don't want to move your existing router to improve you range.
    • Like I said, the router is used for the interior and it has power to spare for that purpose while the extender covers the rest
    • Definitely go with the EX6200, it's great and can even been reworked with DD-WRT into a nice, full-featured router if you ever want to play with that.
    • The router wireless does not cover our entire home and customer service at Xfinity told me that the routers do not do well in "old" homes with lathe and plaster walls
    • A "G" router didn't play well with this.
    • I would recommend this router to everyone.
    • Nice router with good connection speeds
    • My router is in the basement of a large house and this really improved the speed of the wireless in the third floor of my home
    • The router itself works extremely well.
    • I sent mine back after 2 support specialists tried to tell me that my router was bad
    • Now combined with the Netgear Nighthawk router full size 30GB movies stream like butter and download speeds were reaching 24 - 30mbps the last time I tested it.
    • This router keeps loosing the signal, and it's right next to the first wifi router!
    • The Router and the antennas worked very impressively, well over 1,000 ft.
    • The Router and the antennas worked very impressively, well over 1,000 ft.
    • I purchased this router two years ago and it works ok, sort of
    • My router is a nicer Netgear router, and I thought they would work better both being Netgear
    • The router gets hanged in between and i have to reset it
    • is a great router it speeds up my wifi signal 300 mbps on each of my devices.
    • They blamed the router, the tv and the blu Ray but never their product
    • My router has no real connection issues from the area I needed service.
    • It complements my Charter router very well.
