    NETGEAR Wireless Router - N300 (WNR2000)

    • NETGEAR WNR2000v4Router worked fine for the first 6 months, had strong connection, great speed, then it turned to a nightmare
    • I like how small it is and the connection is flawless
    • Now there are a lot of people unhappy with the Netgear N300, and it's understandable--knocks you off, sometimes bad connection, daily resets, etc
    • this router may not be the one to run a large business while the kids are playing games online at the same time but it works for me and my girlfriend both needing a fast wireless connection at the same time.
    • I essentially have 75% of the product I paid for at this point and am unable to use 1 of my 4 connections without the risk of disabling every network connection for anyone else using the router

    • but If you're like me and leave home with large files uploading or downloading expecting them to be done by the time you're home, you'd better look elsewhere, for the router will have undoubtedly lost connection while you are out and about and your file will be frozen in limbo waiting for that reset.
    • Contacted cust support and they had me change the channel to 11 versus automatic and connection is much more consistent.

    • It can't keep a good connection -- even when you're in the same room as the device, and even when there is only one device connected
