    NETGEAR Wireless Router - N300 (WNR2000)

    • Poor hardware, poor software, poor support
    • This was either caused by poor hardware or interference from close by networks
    • Hardware crapped out after less than 11 months of gentle use
    • This is the third time at least that their hardware has disappointed.
    • I called because I need a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number as per the warranty info printed on the site
    • I'm giving this router one start because I shouldn't have to employ work around's to get a product to work as it is intended to work.
    • " and I'm happy to say that my answer is "yes, definitely."The WNR2000 is easy to set up and use; it's every bit as fast as it should be in wired mode and its wireless range and power surpass my expectations

    • Didn't really work as I had hoped, requires ethernet connection, will not work on USB drive.
    • NetGear technical forum helped to reset the channel to desired one (6 or 11) and now working fine as of today!. Hope so there wont be any other issues,
    • Hopefully it continues to work as it had previously for 16 months.
    • It's smaller than I thought with no external antenna, which is ok with technology as good as it is now.
    • The speed also is as fast as if I were on my home computer
    • I've always been an avid D-Link user in the past, but opted out due to buggy firmware updates and the inability to assign MAC Addresses thru WPA/WPA2.I bought the Netgear WNR2000 because of it's cheap price and easy setup features, and I wasn't too concerned with the features of a dual-band router (WNDR3700) because 5 Ghz has a very short bandwidth (approximately 20 feet), and I reside in a two story house and thought that would be a complete waste of money

    • When I got the Netgear, I was hoping that installing it would be easier than the D-Link as I had problems that required some odd configuration settings that were proved to me from the D-Link support area
