The NETGEAR N300 wireless router is a very very good product

I had never hooked up wireless internet before, but this product was incredibly easy to get going

I am looking into finding a reliable product and supplier now.

I expected WNR2000 to be a much better product and frankly it is not

The plan they offered felt unreasonable and didn't make economic sense when the product itself is worth less than the support

So I called Netgear support and all they wanted to do is charge me a fee to help me with their with an inferior product

, too many products jam the connectivity (a collection of iPad, iPhone, laptops, desktops), and the connection varies with products: I have an older Lenovo laptop (loses wireless connection three times a week) and my wife has an Asus (loses connection once a month)

I love Netgear and trust their products.

Other than those few issues this is a great product and a very good price

I've always been an avid D-Link user in the past, but opted out due to buggy firmware updates and the inability to assign MAC Addresses thru WPA/WPA2.I bought the Netgear WNR2000 because of it's cheap price and easy setup features, and I wasn't too concerned with the features of a dual-band router (WNDR3700) because 5 Ghz has a very short bandwidth (approximately 20 feet), and I reside in a two story house and thought that would be a complete waste of money

a hard wired connection was fine and worked as well as my D-

When I got the Netgear, I was hoping that installing it would be easier than the D-Link as I had problems that required some odd configuration settings that were proved to me from the D-Link support area

My first Netgear WNR-854T worked fine for a month and just quit.
