Setup was very easy...basically just connected my cable modem line into the router, powered it up, waited for all the lights to turn the right colors and then set up all my devices (iPod, iPhone, PS3, Laptop being the main ones) to log onto the network.

Setup was a little tricky, they don't tell you to log into it with the wifi PW on the computer before you attempt to run the setup on the browser which is what I had to do before it successfully worked

Unlike the Belkin, setup is a real breeze... hook up the connections, start the Setup Wizard on the included CD, and it configures itself (at least it did so with my cable modem connection... a pretty standard connection)

I've always been an avid D-Link user in the past, but opted out due to buggy firmware updates and the inability to assign MAC Addresses thru WPA/WPA2.I bought the Netgear WNR2000 because of it's cheap price and easy setup features, and I wasn't too concerned with the features of a dual-band router (WNDR3700) because 5 Ghz has a very short bandwidth (approximately 20 feet), and I reside in a two story house and thought that would be a complete waste of money

And indeed, not everyone seems to have the same initial setup trouble, though most everyone does have to do a manual, rather than easy setup
