The one area where the app is superior to the Theta is the viewfinder
-
I've accidentally pressed the video button and started recording video.- Disgraceful app: The app is DOWNRIGHT PATHETIC
-
The app needs improvement, but it works fine under the current iOS on my 6s.

THE APP IS GARBAGE AND
-
This product is tied to a terrible smartphone app that does not work
-
For this upload i used the free “Spatial Media Metadata Injector” app.
-
So, my finding is that hardware is actually not that bad but both mobile app and pc app ruin this product
-
Sadly the snapbridge app is very poor, bad interface, layout and design
-
The app is definitely the WORST app that ever existed
-
But the app is a joke, Nikon should have never put this out and should fire the app development team for being so grossly incompentent.
-
The app and firmware are a joke
-
Hopefully, this all of this will be fixed in future updates, but as of now, the app is ridiculously frustrating, even for an Android user with several nifty hacks (from what I hear, for iOS users, it's next to unusable). All in all, would I recommend this camera
-
I hope Nikon updates the firmware and adress the poor performance of the camera and also enhance the phone app
-
The app sucks
-
Yes, the app sucks
-
Forget the poor app on android
-
Solid 3 stars if the app wasn't so terrible,
-
App is very slow when on the "Camera" tab at the bottom.
-
It's unfortunate that the app is such a mess, I sent the camera back
-
Thought that Nikon is better than that, very slow app, very low qualityAdvertised as a 4K resolution but looks like 480
-
Overall that could be forgiven as this is an affordable 360 cam, and the camera would have 3 stars if it wasn't for the horrific app they developed
-
I'm returning this camera because I have a trip, which I specifically bought this for, and they cannot guarantee when the app will be ready
-
And... to my next point... the app sucks
-
The Android app kind of works, but it's slow, disconnects occasionally, and is pretty awkward to use
-
The app is AWFUL.
-
; secondly, I'm doing majority of shots manually (app keeps of showing random errors, even when auto-sync is off); "Nikon KeyMission Remote Control ML-L6" accessory would be quite handy as an app alternative, but not for 50 bucks (since it's a BT button and Nikon hardly uses any custom BT profile, I guess, remote control is identified purely by it's name - cheaper alternatives should pop-up rather soon - going price for BLE remote with three buttons is 5-10 bucks, at most )
-
App. is slow or confusing
-
The app is slow
-
Nikon App, necessary to use the device, is awful
-
The app itself really could benefit from a professional design firm - it's definitely one of those things that probably made lots of sense to the engineers that designed it, but it's far from easy for anyone else to use
-
I tried the app and hate it and just take the SD card out to do any work with the video
-
The app is so slow that I kept thinking it was freezing
-
you're probably out on an adventure and want to be able to review footage before getting home to a computer, but the app is so terrible you're going to want to throw the entire rig off a cliff
