Plastic pitcher cracked after first use - nothing unusual (some frozen fruit).

but the pitcher had a hairline crack after a month

This blender blends great but the pitcher is flimsy and leaks

and I don’t use it to often sometimes only once a month and the lid and the pitcher broke, and just the pitcher

Nothing major being put into the blender and yet the pitcher cracked and now leaks

I contacted ninja about mine cracking and they told me it would cost $64.99 to get a new pitcher, absolutely absurd

My previous blender was half the price, actually blended items together, came with a sturdy glass pitcher, and lasted me ~8 years.

They either need to make a stronger pitcher or include the pitcher under the warranty if they are not going to make a pitcher that will withstand routine blending.

Now after 3 months, the lid won’t lock, the pitcher is leaking like a faucet, and the replacement part is both 3/4 the price of a new one and out of stock indefinitely

But these cheap plastic pitchers don't hold up and there's no point in using a leaking container.

If I had I would have known that many people complain of the same problem--a cracked pitcher, which suggests that this is indeed a product defect

but maybe a month an a half and had to return it the pitcher was leaking

The black plastic portion of the handle deforms and pulls away from the clear plastic pitcher and no longer fits in the lid.

Don't expect to use it with cold or hot liquids, it will crack your pitcher that is made out of cheap plastic

It worked well for a few months but then the pitcher started falling apart

Either the pitcher cracks, the plastic tabs at the bottom fall off, the lid mechanism breaks (I took apart the lid and determined the flaw in manufacturing that is causing all my lids to fail, but the company wouldn't put me through to engineering to show them my findings).All in all they have sent me two pitcher kits for free under warranty, and when this one inevitably breaks I will just go back to BestBuy and get a new blender

After using to blend coffee and butter daily and the occasional smoothie over the last 15 months the pitcher cracked and now leaks.

So yes, the pitcher will crack exactly when the warranty expires and somehow the replacement pitcher costs just as much as a whole new unit
