The 3D effect is very good and the built in games are tons of fun

If you're on the fence about this, I would still say it's worth a buy, and here's the reason why below.- The 3D effects are very cool.

The Nintendo 3DS' 3D effect is colorful and creates a box of depth within the screen with some slight pop-out effects, but the depth is stunning

In a way I think the 3D effect makes the game easier for my brain to process while playing because instead of trying to calculate distance in 2D games, in 3D you dont have to calculate or estimate cuz its right there in front of you.

The 3D effect is not like the world of the game is coming out, but that you are coming in

I absolutely love it: sharp graphics, great 3D effects with textures and so forth seen in Pilot Wings, Street Fighter and more especially in Steel Divers.

the 3d effect is nice but feels too forced and after more than 5 minutes it will give you a headache so be for warned the internet explorer isn't available right

Some people will have trouble with ANY 3D TECHNOLOGY and because of this any 3D effects will cause them discomfort and this system isn't for them unless they are willing to switch off the 3D effect and use the console without it

Otherwise the console is cool, the camera is awesome, the 3D effect is very solid, the content is pretty extensive (even without many great games, you'll have at least 2 new videos to watch every week in 3D for free).I recommend it if you're looking for a hand-held.

Of course, as cool as the 3D effect is, it's not exactly a down point that you can't use it too long

The graphics are fantastic, the 3D effects don't give me migraines (a problem that's kept me from seeing 3D movies for years) and the system itself is gorgeous

Having played various games for a few months now, I've really enjoyed the 3d effect.

Also the ds came pretty dirty, as it was covered in fingerprints and there was a crusty yellow substance around many of the buttons and inside the sd port

I got the new Nintendo 3DS when it came out on launch day, the cover(top)of the unit is like a sparkling jewel, the battery lasts a about half a day, the internet service won't be out till later in a updated download, the unit also is/can be prone to a system freeze up and the display will show either black or white scren, anything you are/were playing will be lost except any previously saves, the unit weighs twice as much as a DSi XL model, the 3-d screen is ok, it does look more dimentional, but on a little screen, some things about 3-d do get lost, but the nice part is that it has a slider that can ajust the 3-D effect or just turn it off all together, I would recomend getting a warranty with this DSi version, just in case

i loved the ar games they were really fun alot of people are hardcore gamers and didnt like the ds because games like call of duty just didnt have good graphics or controls
