This thing is low tech and nintendo needs to step up the technology so that they can offer something to compete with the PSP VITA, heck even the psp is still ahead of the 3ds

I think one of the best things about the 3D is that when you are playing a game, after a few minutes you start to notice the 3D less, but only because you are drawn into the game so much more without you even noticing

Got my favorites, Street Fighter, the best racing game I knew Ridge Racer, the closest thing to a shooter Ghost Recon, then Splinter Cell and finally a platform Rabbids

and it's still one of my favorite things to do in my down time.

I got the new Nintendo 3DS when it came out on launch day, the cover(top)of the unit is like a sparkling jewel, the battery lasts a about half a day, the internet service won't be out till later in a updated download, the unit also is/can be prone to a system freeze up and the display will show either black or white scren, anything you are/were playing will be lost except any previously saves, the unit weighs twice as much as a DSi XL model, the 3-d screen is ok, it does look more dimentional, but on a little screen, some things about 3-d do get lost, but the nice part is that it has a slider that can ajust the 3-D effect or just turn it off all together, I would recomend getting a warranty with this DSi version, just in case

We all get that there will be things that could be better,...like battery life, etc.

The sad thing is, I have an incredibly long attention span so losing interest in a game that is of high quality is very rare for me, and it happened with three of the best reviewed launch titles

The thing I was most dissappointed with was the launch titles.

All and all I think the 3DS is the most exciting thing to happen with games in a while.

The 3DS is really a nicely improved DS/DSi and it addresses a lot of the criticisms of the ones it is replacing including the weak online and things like the need to restart the system to put in a new game, etc

I've been using the 3D on the highest setting, and things have been just fine for me

My favorite thing about this channel is that it allows you to create QR codes to share to people on your website and other social sites like Facebook.3) AR Games- Fun games

When I did use the D-Pad, I found it a little awkward but only because my hands weren't even with each other (this is the only unnatural feeling thing I found about the 3DS).-The 3D: so the 3D is hands-down AMAZING

You get to take pictures of the characters, like Mario and Kirby doing different things.

It really doesn't kill your eyes unless you do the stupid thing and play all day

Like any product, there are things that are great and things that are mediocre.*3D Graphics

as far as the product itself, I am not the best judge, but it does some amazing things.

and the 3DS is the coolest thing we have ever seen

Combine that with the lack of any good games and I can't recommend this thing at all

I received it quickly and my husband loves the thing.

You will see a strange little yellow thing that says AR Games and AR Cards.

Each thing is easy to read and figure out

Amazing how some children lose things like pencils, sharpeners, erasers etc but treat these electronic devices with extra special care lol

There are stories that doctors say the 3d thing is a good thing because it can help identify early on if there are vision problems with a child

Which leaves the 3DS open for MAAAAANY more awesome things to come.~It is smaller than the other DS systems

You get other nice things, the 3D camera is nice, so maybe I wont feel so bad of having shell out $250 as in the balance the hardware maybe more than a DS

this thing can be addicted, so you have to find time or otherwise it will take all the time you have

It is actually one of my favorite things about the 3ds.

At first I thought it was one of the coolest things ever, the screen is bright, and the 3D is amazing

Pros:-Sturdy design: this thing feels awesome in my hands

Sometimes it seems like things are hovering outside of the screen

, then immediately return to your game without losing a thing

These things are really incredible!

But this 3D is the true 3D with actual depth to it, not like the fuzzy, eye-popping things you see in 3D movies

I knew that it wouldn't be perfect since it was used, but i didn't expect so many things to be wrong with it.

I will list some of the amazing features and things about this 3DS.-It has intense 3D when turned up all the way so the images are eye

The 3D isn't the only good thing about the graphics though, the graphics chip itself feels leaps and bounds better than the DS

This is such a cool thing.

There are many good things about this system that make it an excellent purchase (perhaps not a "must buy" but a great purchase nonetheless!):- Graphics are sharp, crisp, colors pop

First of all, even though everything is in 3D without the need for special glasses(everything is absolutely gorgeous that way, mind you) and it has a lot of cool things that you can do with it(AR Cards, Taking 3D pictures & so on

The damn thing wouldn't turn back on.

The not so good thing is that you know over a year or two, there will be again another even better version

However that's why you are getting this thing in the first place, right

So many cool things about 3DS out of the box, no games required

this is the best thing that has ever happened to me because now I have something to do with my spare time

its not a bad thing but its something that can be improved

Another thing that kind of bothered me was the fact that none of the great things I have been hearing about were available yet on the system.

Even though the prevalent complain about battery life is true, I would say it is almost like a good thing because it forces you me to stop playing and take a break!The 3DS comes already packed with fun stuff

I personally don't think the 3d mode on this unit is a good thing for a childs eye and brain development coupled with the hours on end playing on a small screen

With that said though, some things to consider: It's 250 dollars... worth it, but it can be painful to swallow

This is the greatest thing the the Nintendo company will give you for now

Overall I am very pleased with this new system and see great things in the future with some of the upcoming software releases

and I absolutely love this thing

Luckily for me Nintendo refunded the thing once they heard that the 3D effect nukes my eyes, so I have $250

But the weird thing was that I got it the day before it officially came out

I'd give the camera a 4, but the way you can edit photos and see them in 3D makes it an 8.3DS SOUND: 10 out of 10One of my favorite things about the Nintendo 3DS is the 3DS Sound

Other than that the 3ds rocks check it out at your local gamestop bestbuy or walmart before you buy it to see if the 3ds is for you trust me you will not regret it this thing is amazing if its not for you stick with your Dsi XL Dsi or Ds lite

The only thing was that my 3DS came with an adapter, but it didn't work, so I need to take it back soon

It really looks like some things are sticking out of the screen and some are back in the screen.
