Again, offers everything the 3ds does, same processor, plays all 3ds games, netflix and youtube apps compatible,This could have been a failure, but Nintendo did the right thing by making it a virtual copy of the 3ds without the slider, this way budget consumers could afford the newest console instead of resorting to the DSi or DS lite whose games are now numbered, although the Nintendo Online Club still creates new downloads available for the DSi but they are pretty sub standard "bloop" games thrown together by small game companies using development software not much better than visual basic

This feature is actually very important because just as you would want a comfortable controller for a home console you would want the same for a portable console that can be changed i.e. like another controller with grips, stick extensions, etc

The console has an enormous variety of games which are all mostly exclusive

Moving between menus and launching apps or games takes slightly longer, but after clearing several Virtual Console titles and a round of Star Fox 64 3D to put it through its paces, I can say there is no noticeable extra time spent anywhere in-game

The Nintendo 2DS works as advertised and is a wonderful handheld game console

It takes a LONG time for the game to load up after cutting it on and the console doesn't cut off easily, as well

Overall, the 2DS is a great priced console that gives access to such an excellent library of games (like Pokemon Y and Fire Emblem Awakening).

right when you pick this up and hold it in your hands, giving you got about 6" long (from tip of middle finger to top of wrist) and about 3" wide (with all fingers close together)the console seems like it just falls right where its suppose to go with no effort of getting it adjusted and ready to play

A major problem with the DSi was the L and R buttons, which broke because of dust buildup ( blowing into it will momentarily fix the problem, but will end up ruining the device eventually from the moisture that comes when you blow)

The L and R buttons are way easier too use for and adult and you will love that the screens are flat together
