    • My 12 year old son also enjoys this game a awesome array of games can be downloaded right to the system which makes it perfect for road trips so games aren't being lost in the van seats I recommend this game system for any aged kids its great love everything about it
    • Again, do your research before buying and take a look at the available games for young kids if that’s who this is being bought for!!
    • AR Games (a program that uses both the camera and AR cards for some fun), Swap Note (a drawing program), Streetpass Mii Plaza (a very fun game center that uses the miis), Nintendo 3DS camera, Mii Maker (a program where you make little avatars.), Nintendo Eshop (a place were you can buy digital games and apps), Activity Log (This is actually a record that keeps tracks of the games, steps, and apps and whatever daily activity that one does), Nintendo video (This showcases small videos lasting for less than five minutes, though they change weeks later), System Settings (This is were controls, like the settings, calendar, clock, parental controls, and so forth a located), Nintendo 3DS sound (This is a music game, but I didn't experiment with it to see if I like it) to name a few
    • 3DS games are just much more enjoyable with headphones/earphones/earbuds/whatever regardless of which 3DS system you have, at least in my opinion
    • I tested about 5 games and only one of them worked and then when we turned the unit off it didn't work anymore
    • When it has came down to video games, Nintendo has reigned supreme with all their highs and heartbreaks as the most successful video game company of the past 30 years, Since they developed Donkey Kong back in the 80's it has all been nothing but massive success with great games like Super Mario Brothers and The Legend Of Zelda
    • all 3DS and regular DS games-Impressive visual quality-Easy and effortless set upCONS:-Only one speaker, making certain apps (read: Netflix) not enjoyable.
    • I am able to take part in the great and often spectacular games in the DS library without having to deal with the 3D gimmick
    • My son seems to be enjoying this little game, he loves the mario kart, screen isn't as big as I hoped it would be but other than that it's great.
    • it has good graphics, good game
    • Of course, none of this would matter if games didn't look smooth, which they do.
    • Really nice and the games are so cheap
    • My 12 year old son also enjoys this game a awesome array of games can be downloaded right to the system which makes it perfect for road trips so games aren't being lost in the van seats I recommend this game system for any aged kids its great love everything about it, this is a real hit in my house!
    • This game is excellent my nephew love it
    • Plays all the 3ds games, comfortable to hold
    • It has fit my needs perfectly well, even though I'm not a very avid gamer
    • While the games are both fantastic and I'll be talking about them at a later time, I was surprisingly more impressed with the 2DS itself.
    • 3DS games are just much more enjoyable with headphones/earphones/earbuds/whatever regardless of which 3DS system you have, at least in my opinion
    • I've been hesitant to buy a system in the 3DS family despite the awesome games coming out primarily because due to my terrible eyesight, there is no way I can utilize the 3D features without making my head want to explode
    • So at the moment I can't play games like Shin Megami Tensei IV, though I suspect that they'll release it in Europe eventually
    • It's comfortable, sturdy, and plays all of the great games the 3DS is capable of playing.
    • Only the biggest sticklers will even notice any blur, let alone be bothered by it, and most will easily be able to enjoy any DS game on their 2DS.Lack of 3-D and Price Reduction: What is the 3DS without its most distinguishing third-dimensional feature
    • All DS and 3DS games are available to you
    • The lack of 3D isn't much of an issue, and games look great!
    • I couldn't ask for a better game system for a kid.
    • The kids were very happy with them, and they love the games.

    • This is a cheap and comfortable way to play all your favorite games from the good 'ol days and up
    • This is a great game system
    • Awesome device and awesome games but the system didn't come with a charger
    • The Nintendo 2DS works as advertised and is a wonderful handheld game console
    • So at the moment I can't play games like Shin Megami Tensei IV, though I suspect that they'll release it in Europe eventually
    • Still you get the ability to play great games well like Luigi's Mansion
    • You need 150-200 coins to get a 100% free game), which anyone can get after signing up, filling out a survey per game, and getting a code which you use through the eShop on your 2DS/3DS to get the specific game.-SteatPass
    • Only issue is that it runs some graphically intense games slower - such as 2v2 battles in Pokemon Moon.
    • My son loves this game

    • The best hand-held game system ever!!!@
    • I picked up a 2ds bundle recently that came with a case and 2 Ds games and have been having fun playing the few games i currently own, upon opening the box i noticed that the system was smaller than i thought it would be and comfortable to hold while playing games which is great
    • So at the moment I can't play games like Shin Megami Tensei IV, though I suspect that they'll release it in Europe eventually
    • Either way sound doesn’t have to be really loud to fully enjoy the games, videos, etc. that the console provides
    • For 79.99 I'd recommend going to gamestop, toys r us, or other places that give you a NEW 2ds and and a free game to boot.
    • Other than that it plays all his games great!
    • (I'm not sure if it can play "New 3DS" games) games, as well as all DS and DSi games
    • The best draw of all for me was will be letting my son play all the new awesome 3ds games with me having to worry he will accidently turn on the 3d mood which has been known to give him seizures
    • Grandson very happy with 2DS, and enjoying several games.
    • Plus one of the best nintendo games ever mario kart 7, all for about 80 dollars.

    • It works and is in fine condition, however it does not come with the SD card these consoles are supposed to come with to support larger games, it says nowhere in the description that this very important piece of equipment it missing
    • With this design, it reminds be of having a modern Game Boy
    • So I got a 2DS, Pokemon X (a great game, by the way), and Super Mario 64 DS and paid for taxes - all for less than the base price of the 3DS XL.Now, granted, the 3DS XL is larger device with much larger screens and does have the ability to close which will better protect the screens
    • This is the reason I love Nintendo, I love the fact that I can just play for 20 minutes or 4 hours and have a great time, Nintendo has the best games period
    • The ability to buy classic nintendo games
    • The 2DS does last longer when playing DS games as opposed to 3DS games
    • I was never a fan of portable games since I came to them back in the days of Gameboy and Game Gear when 2D sprites were the way to go and difficulty settings often unforgiving
    • Very comfortable game-play
    • Great game console
    • Most of the best 3DS games would have worked just fine on the DS, they simply look nicer with better graphics
    • The games are fun, but not if you have no system to play them on
    • Great item granddaughter plays on it all the time sturdy game system
    • It really enhanced games like Mario Kart 7, since using it feels great!-And, when it worked, I think the software looked great on a flat surface as oppose to separate angles
    • Plenty of room to comfortably grip it, long battery life and some fantastic games
    • It's fast, I bought an awesome case on Etsy, a super cool decal, and the games are incredible.

    • Nice game console, easy to use
    • I was never a fan of portable games since I came to them back in the days of Gameboy and Game Gear when 2D sprites were the way to go and difficulty settings often unforgiving
    • There IS a free game that comes with the 2DS, which is Face Raiders
    • And the "Home" menu always loads up upon turning it on; you can't just skip to playing the game like on a home console
    • When I play Pokémon, whether I'm using the stylus or not the game never becomes hard to control
    • I had looked at getting a PSP, but decided to go for a Nintendo handheld device, as I have had good experiences with them and the games for them
    • The left shoulder button was broken, and the system creaks as I use it
    • The lack of a clamshell lid is a bit of a nuisance, but the system itself is sturdy and not as easy to damage as might be thought
    • The lack of a clamshell lid is a bit of a nuisance, but the system itself is sturdy and not as easy to damage as might be thought
    • Excellent e conditions love it
    • When you include the compatibility with original DS games, as well as Nintendo’s impressive E-shop offerings, I suspect that almost anyone could find something to enjoy
