Nintendo Selects: Super Mario 3D World

    • The controls in this game have been refined to near perfection, to the point that characters on the screen feel like an extension of yourself
    • but I cannot excuse some of the level design, boring ost, and the recycled "unique" character traits
    • Good because of familiarity for those who played that game but bad because it's nothing new, though they have a secret character to unlock in the post game and that character is my favorite to use
    • Just like Mario 2 you can choose between Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad or you can grab a few friends and you all can play at the same time with these amazing characters
    • Each player gets to control a unique character (no generic, recolored Toads for player 4, thankfully), and as I said earlier, each character controls uniquely as well, so everyone will have their own experience
    • Seeing your favorite characters in full HD is movingly beautiful.
    • Having so many unique characters practically guarantees that gamers of any skill level or play style will get the most out of their experience with the game, and that's awesome
    • What's awesome about all of this is that you get to choose between several equally well-designed characters to play as, and all offer unique abilities and traits
    • The characters are fun, but not many variations in abilities
    • I like that you can play as other characters than Mario
    • The balance of this game is great, characters are fun to use, levels are perfectly balanced and fun for both kids and adults.
