    Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

    • I recommend these over the Joy-Con any day.
    • It feels more natural than the joy con controller, the battery life is great, and the build is solid
    • Easy to avoid over time though.-The triggers are all digital, which isn't necessarily a con but can hinder its virtual console capability-A little expensive
    • I bought this for my son for his new Nintendo Switch, He loves the joy cons but has large hands and this is easier for him to play some games on
    • I have had the Switch for a year now, and the whole time I have been using the Joy-Con controllers in the grip, as I was surprised with how comfortable they were, even with my fairly large hands
    • It's also further away from the the thumb stick so you don't accidentally hit it like on the joycon controllers with joy con grip
    • I was a little sceptical at the beginning since the two joy cons with the grip are supposed to work just as good
    • The only downside is that it makes me notice the little imperfections of the Joy-Con controller when I switch back and forth between the two.
    • I never use the joy-cons any more.
    • When compared to the joy-con grip that is included with the Switch, this is far superior
    • and now i only use the joy-con controllers when i'm on the go because its less stuff to carry
    • It has a roughly 40 hour battery life, it is far and away a better experience than using the Joy-cons on the comfort grip or by themselves, and it feels very sturdy and well made
    • After using the Joy-Con for about a month it takes a few hours to get used to the Pro Controller
    • Buttons are much larger and easier to use than the joy con controllers.
    • You'll grow to hate the joy-cons
    • I got the pro controller after my girlfriend moved in with me so we could play together more comfortably rather than using one Joy-Con each
    • The controller is very comfortable to hold and I like it much better than just using the joy-cons by themselves
    • I hate the Joy-Con grip so this really wasn't optional for
    • Really great controller for those who feel that the joy con controllers are either too small (for big hands like me) or the placements of the sticks with the buttons and directional pad being either directly below or above
    • When getting the switch the joy con controllers just bother me
    • I first thought that I loved the Joy Con controllers included with the console more than anything
    • The Joy Con + Grip has a nice cluster of 3DS sized buttons
    • As much as I love the joy-cons on the Nintendo Switch I still wanted a conventional controller for playing in docked mode
    • Unlike the Joy-Cons, this controller is more like a traditional controller while still having great battery life (but not as good as the Joy-Con battery life).
    • It’s incredibly comfortable and seems to offer better response than the joy cons on the switch
    • This is probably due to the HD rumble, IR sensor, NFC technology (to scan amiibo) built in and ridiculous battery life similar to the the joy con controllers (if bought separately) are the same price.2
    • Feels way better than the joy con controller, IMO
    • Really solid controller, comparable to a Xbox 360 con
    • The Joy Con + grip is definitely serviceable, but take your game up a notch with the pro especially if you play games like Splatoon 2
    • Way better than Joy Con controller which are very thin.8
    • A great upgrade over the joy-con controller that comes with the switch.
    • While I can recommend it since it is a great controller and currently is the only option besides the Joy-con controller I can't recommend these scalped and inflated prices that you see while stock is limited
    • Apparently it’s an issue with an older joy con design
    • This controller is a better fit in the hands with larger and more spaced out buttons then the Joy-Con controllers.
    • I have no issues with the Joy-cons detached from the switch and at the same distance, nor any problems with any other wireless controllers in that room or anywhere else in the house (PS4, Xbox One, etc.)
    • But trying to get a second controller for the Nintendo Switch can by either from the joy-con controllers, or by getting another Nintendo Switch controller that feels more comfortable just like the way people have traditionally felt with Nintendo's past game systems like the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube
    • I don't have huge hands, but after two hours of playing using the Joy Con controllers (both attached and detached from the console), my hands felt stressed and a bit cramped
    • I personally liked the joy-con controllers in the grip it came with but decided to get this as a second
    • The Joy Con controllers are outclassed by the Pro controller in every concievable way except for the lack of HD rumble
    • I figured I'd be happy with the stock Joy Con controllers in the handle.
    • I personally am used to console controllers so this fit my hands better than the Joy-Con controllers that come with the system
    • The latter was actually more expensive but naturally you could turn the Joy Con into two smaller controllers, accommodating more players
    • One way Nintendo is ripping people off, with there pricey items for the new switch, but still its needed item if you love playing games but dont enjoy the joy cons that it comes with..
    • I personally think it is much more comfortable than the joy con controller that comes with the Switch.
    • Great way to play while circumventing the user of that weird joy con controller
    • Takes some time to get used to if you've been using the joy con docks.
    • I have big hands and those joy con controllers are way too small
    • The pro controller is more comfortable and feels more durable then using the Joy-Con comfort grip
    • The second set of joy cons charge on a slide in slide out charging dock, that don’t click into place to damage that peg connected to Joy-Con release button
    • The controller is packed with every feature of the normal Joy-Con with the exception of the IR camera from the right Joy-Con.
    • Loved the versatility of the "pick up and go" concept, the detachment of the controllers to create the Joy Con Grip, the games
    • , NFC reader, Motion Gyro controls, HD Rumble and rubber grip feel in the palm handles + including a really nice 5 foot long Type C to USB A charging cable
