Literally the worst pile of garbage I've ever used
One of the most comfortable controllers I have ever used
I have larger hands, and this controller is the best one I've ever used
Or a more comfortable XB 360 controller (which I also liked). While the PS4 is the worst controller I've used for durability (already have 5+ mostly because of the left analog stick
One of the best most comfortable controllers I’ve ever used
The warranty is only 3 months which is not long enough for such an expensive product
The current D pad location makes it easy for the player to accidentally press diagonal up/right or diagonal up/left, which is the D pad issue people are complaining about
Expensive - D-pad is way too sensitive!Shoutout to Amazon for processing my return so quickly, no questions asked
great product. seems more responsive than the controllers that come with switch.
Just feels great in your hands, very much like the 360’s did but with a proper D-pad
The second set of joy cons charge on a slide in slide out charging dock, that don’t click into place to damage that peg connected to Joy-Con release button
Way better than Joy Con controller which are very thin.8
I have big hands and those joy con controllers are way too small
I personally think it is much more comfortable than the joy con controller that comes with the Switch.
It's also further away from the the thumb stick so you don't accidentally hit it like on the joycon controllers with joy con grip
(More often than not this an 'up' mispress, as well, one holds their controller upright.)Truth be told, I've never had a defective, well ANYTHING Nintendo in 30+ years of using their products
Plus the A, B, X, Y, buttons are really rigid and aren't smooth around the edges
I come to expect high quality from Nintendo but the action on the d-pad is terrible, the input lag is unacceptable, and at this price it is an insult.
but ive seen a few reviews with the same issue as well as on the internet
So convenient and keeps a charge far longer than the Wii U remotes
What's worse, many people (including me) have received defective D-pads, where pressing one direction will activate an adjacent direction
It frequently registers the wrong direction as being pressed
After playing some actual games, I feel like there is still some odd sensitivity that causes me to mess up a direction sometimes,
Perfect weight, large face buttons, precise D-pad, and a comfortable grip for American hands
The Pro controller has an amazing build quality, is very comfortable, offers the best D-pad on the market, nice raised face buttons, a dedicated share and home buttons, motion sensors and the NFC chip
The D-pad is very responsive and feels as good as the classic D-pads Nintendo has made in the past
I don't know if I can justify the $70 price tag now with this D-Pad issue
Just feels great in your hands, very much like the 360’s did but with a proper D-pad
Finally, Nintendo has created a controller with a nice big D-Pad and extremely responsive buttons and triggers all-around.
It's like a gamble since there's a chance you'll get a really messed up D-Pad and have to send back or get it "repaired" when this shouldn't be an issue in the first place for a $70 controller
Lack of a 3.5mm jack is a major oversight at the price range
(More often than not this an 'up' mispress, as well, one holds their controller upright.)Truth be told, I've never had a defective, well ANYTHING Nintendo in 30+ years of using their products
The main complaints I see about this controller are the Dpad, the lack of headphone jack, and the price
Controller is expensive but that was before I felt the build quality and button presses, especially the top buttons L, R, ZL and ZR.
However, the lack of a 5.3mm jack input is disappointing and warrants knocking a star off in my book.
The only bad points are a lack of a headphone jack, digital analog triggers instead of plunger style
The gyroscope works really well with Splatoon 2 (global testfire tested). The only thing I can state as a potential weak point (besides my personal preference of top side analog sticks) is that the d-pad is quite firm, and isn't as nice to use as a primary character input as the Wii U Pro Controller's
I feel that major oversight easily docks it two points.
