It is smart, well-designed controller with all the features needed for the Nintendo Switch
-
—This is well-designed with a semi-transparent main body that lets you see beneath the plastic, with grips having a nicely-textured material wrapped around them
-
Pretty great and has a great design, but suffers from feeling cheap like most other controllers
-
the well designed controller, addition of a REAL D-pad is definetly an obvious bonus
-
It's beautiful - The transparent plastics and industrial design make for a simply gorgeous controller
-
Overall I believe I received a unit with a defective left analog stick, however the issues with the rest of the controller are such that I will be waiting to purchase a Pro Controller for my Switch until a significant design overhaul is made.
-
The design feels solid without too much weight, the handles have a comfortable grippy material pleasant to the touch, and the buttons and control sticks are larger than the Joy-Con's buttons and sticks
-
i hate reviews like this, but i have to vent my frustration.i mean, for a measly $70 you get to play your game relatively comfortably, yet not as good as the xbox (same controller design for 15+ years)the
-
It's a very well designed controller, might be the best I have ever owned.
-
Pro controller indeed, superb construction and design.
-
Insanely long battery life and super comfortable design.
-
Outstanding product, aesthetically pleasing, ergonomically well designed, extensive battery life, easy to connect and use
-
It feels great to use and has a really solid design, plus the D
-
The d-pad is way too sensitive, and judging from many online reviews it seems like a poor design rather than a defect with my specific controller
-
Nintendo got the design of this controller right
-
Not only is it amazingly functional: ergonomic and adaptable for fluid game play, the controller incorporates the best part of the joycon into perhaps the most well designed controller I have ever played with
-
For the X1 I don't like the convex design
-
The PS4 controllers is 30% less expensive and is far more comfortable and well design
-
IT is very well designed and its battery life is incredible
-
This is probably the most comfortably designed controller I've ever held
-
This review sits in the middle of the road because, I must say it is not a bad controller but it has one major design flaw that ruins it for me
-
I thought the different design would be uncomfortable going from those controllers to this one
-
Best controller design out there right now
-
The controller not only feels and plays good but it also looks great with an elegant but functional physical design
-
Visual AestheticsPlastic on the base of the controller is semi-transparentHas a nice dotted texture design on the grips
-
A very well designed controller
-
Pretty great and has a great design, but suffers from feeling cheap like most other controllers
-
All around well designed and sturdy
-
Amazing design
-
Nice design, great build quality, and a big improvement over the Joy-Con controllers
-
It's a good external design except for the + and - buttons.
-
Nice looking industrial design and allows other players to join in on the fun!
-
Also special shout out to the slick design on this because it looks super cool.
-
Solid build, artistic design, clicky and responsive buttons, and it uses the 3dsxl battery built into it, allowing for extremely long play sessions before even needing to charge
-
As for the negatives, in my opinion, the cosmetic design is pretty ugly; it doesn't look like a consumer ready product, and appears more industrial.
-
Awesome feeling, love the design.
-
I really like the design of these pro controllers
-
This controller uses a solid design that mimics the Xbox 360
-
Could've been a better D-Pad and a headphone
-
Perfect weight, large face buttons, precise D-pad, and a comfortable grip for American hands
-
possible)Good d-
-
I would give it 5 if it had a better D pad
-
The classic D-pad makes a return again on the Pro-Controller, It's the same size as the d-pad on the Wii and Wii U Pro Controllers
-
It's like a gamble since there's a chance you'll get a really messed up D-Pad and have to send back or get it "repaired" when this shouldn't be an issue in the first place for a $70 controller
-
Expensive - D-pad is way too sensitive!Shoutout to Amazon for processing my return so quickly, no questions asked
-
comfortable-Fingers lay right on the triggers-Analog sticks are catchy and never want to leave the thumbs-Bluetooth compatible!Cons:-Not the best D-pad, it's easy to hit multiple angles with one press accidentally
-
It feels great to use and has a really solid design, plus the D
-
The D-pad is very responsive and feels as good as the classic D-pads Nintendo has made in the past
-
If you're looking for a controller with a good D-
-
What's worse, many people (including me) have received defective D-pads, where pressing one direction will activate an adjacent direction
-
Just feels great in your hands, very much like the 360’s did but with a proper D-pad
-
It's obvious that a lot of research was done into how everything would feel, and Nintendo still knows how to make the perfect D-Pad
-
The Pro controller has an amazing build quality, is very comfortable, offers the best D-pad on the market, nice raised face buttons, a dedicated share and home buttons, motion sensors and the NFC chip
-
Terrible D-Pad
-
The inclusion of a proper D-Pad, is also a plus, as i found the 4 buttons on the joycon that act as the D-Pad, just felt weird, when i tried to use what should've been a D-Pad
-
The current D pad location makes it easy for the player to accidentally press diagonal up/right or diagonal up/left, which is the D pad issue people are complaining about
-
My only problem with the controller is the awful D-Pad
-
Finally, Nintendo has created a controller with a nice big D-Pad and extremely responsive buttons and triggers all-around.
-
Just feels great in your hands, very much like the 360’s did but with a proper D-pad
-
The NFC reader didn't work on the first one I
