I might want another one someday though, so hopefully this doesn't have to happen again.*END UPDATE*After reading about how the corded controllers tend to have 0-2 frames of input lag, and knowing that I'd rather not play most games with the joycons, I decided to get a pro controller along with my new Switch
-
I come to expect high quality from Nintendo but the action on the d-pad is terrible, the input lag is unacceptable, and at this price it is an insult.
-
There is a whole second delay with input lag when you press any button, I noticed it on Xenoblade C2 it was telling me I wasn't hitting the button prompts in
-
The NFC reader didn't work on the first one I
-
So convenient and keeps a charge far longer than the Wii U remotes
-
Battery life is just as great as the Wii u version
-
Controller is expensive but that was before I felt the build quality and button presses, especially the top buttons L, R, ZL and ZR.
-
It works as it's supposed to.
-
Works as
-
As good as, if not better than, other consoles branded controllers.
-
(More often than not this an 'up' mispress, as well, one holds their controller upright.)Truth be told, I've never had a defective, well ANYTHING Nintendo in 30+ years of using their products
-
Not as good as the 1X controller or the DS4.
-
Great product, the controller works as if it was new, & it has a charger with it.
-
Plus the A, B, X, Y, buttons are really rigid and aren't smooth around the edges
-
but ive seen a few reviews with the same issue as well as on the internet
