I haven't run into any D-Pad issues that were mentioned in previous reviews, but I will update if I run into those problems
-
The D-pad issues are inexcusable at any price point, but I feel that Nintendo should've invested more into the design and quality control if they're asking for this much
-
D pad issues are still unresolved
-
I haven't noticed any d-pad issues as others have reported.
-
The D pad issue is way overblown, and this is a fantastic controller.
-
Know I now the issue with the D-pad issue, yes is annoying, ill just buy the new itineration of Pro Controller like the Xenoblade 2 Controller.
-
I want to love this controller but D-Pad issue is a big deal breaker for me
-
I don't know if I can justify the $70 price tag now with this D-Pad issue
-
While it does have the best grip out of all the controllers I've used (ps4, steam, xbox), it does have the infamous d-pad issue
-
The current D pad location makes it easy for the player to accidentally press diagonal up/right or diagonal up/left, which is the D pad issue people are complaining about
-
I am on my third controller now and all of them have D-Pad issue
-
It works as it's supposed to.
-
Works as
-
As good as, if not better than, other consoles branded controllers.
-
(More often than not this an 'up' mispress, as well, one holds their controller upright.)Truth be told, I've never had a defective, well ANYTHING Nintendo in 30+ years of using their products
-
Not as good as the 1X controller or the DS4.
-
Great product, the controller works as if it was new, & it has a charger with it.
-
Plus the A, B, X, Y, buttons are really rigid and aren't smooth around the edges
-
but ive seen a few reviews with the same issue as well as on the internet
-
Could've been a better D-Pad and a headphone
-
Perfect weight, large face buttons, precise D-pad, and a comfortable grip for American hands
-
possible)Good d-
-
I would give it 5 if it had a better D pad
-
The classic D-pad makes a return again on the Pro-Controller, It's the same size as the d-pad on the Wii and Wii U Pro Controllers
-
It's like a gamble since there's a chance you'll get a really messed up D-Pad and have to send back or get it "repaired" when this shouldn't be an issue in the first place for a $70 controller
-
Expensive - D-pad is way too sensitive!Shoutout to Amazon for processing my return so quickly, no questions asked
-
comfortable-Fingers lay right on the triggers-Analog sticks are catchy and never want to leave the thumbs-Bluetooth compatible!Cons:-Not the best D-pad, it's easy to hit multiple angles with one press accidentally
-
It feels great to use and has a really solid design, plus the D
-
The D-pad is very responsive and feels as good as the classic D-pads Nintendo has made in the past
-
If you're looking for a controller with a good D-
-
What's worse, many people (including me) have received defective D-pads, where pressing one direction will activate an adjacent direction
-
Just feels great in your hands, very much like the 360’s did but with a proper D-pad
-
It's obvious that a lot of research was done into how everything would feel, and Nintendo still knows how to make the perfect D-Pad
-
The Pro controller has an amazing build quality, is very comfortable, offers the best D-pad on the market, nice raised face buttons, a dedicated share and home buttons, motion sensors and the NFC chip
-
Terrible D-Pad
-
The inclusion of a proper D-Pad, is also a plus, as i found the 4 buttons on the joycon that act as the D-Pad, just felt weird, when i tried to use what should've been a D-Pad
-
The current D pad location makes it easy for the player to accidentally press diagonal up/right or diagonal up/left, which is the D pad issue people are complaining about
-
My only problem with the controller is the awful D-Pad
-
Finally, Nintendo has created a controller with a nice big D-Pad and extremely responsive buttons and triggers all-around.
-
The NFC reader didn't work on the first one I
-
Just feels great in your hands, very much like the 360’s did but with a proper D-pad
-
Just feels great in your hands, very much like the 360’s did but with a proper D-pad
-
So convenient and keeps a charge far longer than the Wii U remotes
-
Battery life is just as great as the Wii u version
