If you want to be able to see the display across a very large room or hang it on a wall, the larger version would be a better option.

This frame is one of the best I've used - it has a great looking display, and it allows in-device photo editing (cropping, rotating, etc)

And, the display is very cool in color, and the hue adjustment does not help it much.

The photographs, scanned into jpg format on an SD card, displayed brightly and clearly, and there was no trouble reading the photos (another, here nameless and returned, brand could not display them all, and skipped about 1/3 of them - its display was also muddy)

The Momento regularly cuts off the top of many pictures while the NIX displays correctly without the need to resize photos

The 17.3" has a resolution of 1920x1080, which for me seems like the minimum acceptable quality for modern displays

Instead of 50 small picture frames of travel photos, I now have a wonderful display that changes every few seconds and turns off when there is no motion in the room where it is displayed.

Sizing down the photos did fix the erratic, non-consistent display time between the photos to better match what you select for your interval before the picture changes.2

But at roughly 85 pixels per inch (ppi), the resolution is better than my old computer monitor (72ppi) but not nearly as good as my Microsoft Surface display (148ppi).

I had some problems getting the display to load photos from a USB Stick and had to contact support.

so it's not as appealing as you may like for certain areas

so we made no effort to have that corrected as we were otherwise thrilled with the product

The photo frame works as it should though it is best if the photos you upload have good exposure; if your photos are too dark, you need to be very close to the screen in order to see detail.
