If so why even bother having albums

I liked that I could pull photos from Facebook, where I have a lot of pictures and was amazed how I could drag whole albums, not only individual pics onto the Nexplay account.

You have to add the photos to the album, then login to the Nixplay site and manually drag the album to your playlist to update it

If the photos are already on the Mac (and not in HEIC format), simply load the Nixplay website, open an album, drag photos inside

The former is done by exiting out of the album and dragging the album into the playlist on the right; the latter is done by going to the 'Frames' menu, clicking a frame and enabling a playlist

I wish the album to playlist interface would be smoother, for example if I connect my account to google photos, I'd like to just select an album in google photos, and if the album in google is updated the frame should be automatically updated without any further steps required within the Nixplay website.

I ordered two of these as wedding gifts for my parents and future in-laws to replace the boring old parent wedding album

like having a picassa or facebook album or page post directly to the nixplay playlist.

I would give using the Nix four stars because I found the process of migrating photos from my computer to my Nix Play Album impossible to do.

Customer support gets an "A" in my book.

Confused as to why a simple feature would not be included I found the forum linked below

and I was mystified as to why some of the photos were rotated 90 degrees.

It seems to show either one or the other as opposed to jumping to my movie files after finishing the photo slide show [on the SD card as well as in the cloud].

He was able to make that clear, as well as how to make sure my parents saw the last pictures first, without having to scroll through them all to see the new ones.
