Re-tightening the screw results in stripped threads in the cheap plastic handle

The handle in the center makes it easy to take it out of the pan when the eggs are done

Note the handle gets so hot you have to use a pot holder to use.

Also, the handle gets very hot (and has fallen off once already) and it's very hard to lift the poacher out of the pan of hot water with an oven mitt without dipping the oven mitt in the eggs

Even when greasing, however, the pan is very hard to clean as there is egg residue on the pan that has to be scrubbed out.
