I do have some mugs which have a smaller surface area on the bottom, and in those it does not quite keep it warm enough for me.

This one does not keep my coffee hot enough; it is more like lukewarm.

I will re-buy it just because it is so amazing and because it ACTUALLY does keep things very very warm

I would say any stainless steel cup will work fine as mine does on my computer desk.

The product design also does not look like the picture.

I don't care much for the weird soap suds looking print, or whatever it was supposed to be lol.. would have preferred it white, or other solid colors even, but that's trivial considering it does what it is supposed to do and does it well

Please don't listen to the negative reviews,,,it does keep your coffee the same from pot to cup.

My only disappointment is with my fourth concern, the warmer does not have any type of sticky pads on the bottom, it's just plastic
