re-installed my old router (which I had originally installed many years ago with no tech support) and it was able to connect with no problem--took maybe 5 minutes.

NC is a bit tough to setup, but their tech support are very savvy and helped me through the initial hiccups

Norton tech support actually did this to mine by instructing me to do a factory reset anyway after I warned them that I would lose my internet connection by doing so
