There is an important step after installing, which is in the manual but I missed it at first, that has you set the correct MIDI ins and outs for Abelton

So this is not really a totally portable keyboard but rather a powerful MIDI controller for in studio work, or on the road as a live performance machine using Ableton 9 Live Lite with a plugged in computer/laptop etc
