They may not be a perfect "reference class" IEM, but they are still passable and an incredible pair headphones for listening to and enjoying music
I am instead an audiophile in the pure sense of the word: one who loves music, a wide variety of music, a person who listens to music literally every chance she can while awake
I rarely turn these up past the halfway mark in volume, and I take in the full range of frequency with a clarity so sharp, the separation can make you feel as though your listening in an acoustically blessed music venue
If music is important to your life, these earbuds deserve your most serious consideration.

This set has little things... a microphone on the basic cord so you can use it for phone calls; little plastic tabs to adjust where the wire splits on you (helps you control lose wires); a velcro holder to keep your wires neat that actually sticks onto the soft case all the parts come in; a cozy soft holder for the earphones themselves to protect them.
The black outer box reveals a sturdy clear plastic holder, which contains a smaller traveling case for everyday purposes; the earbuds themselves safely and snugly embedded in a thick foam block; and a bunch of accessories: a collection of earbud tips of multiple sizes and hardness, including two Comfy tips designed for extra comfort and sound isolation.

The HEM6 have quite good sound quality, but the build quality leaves something to be desired, especially given the price

The braided cable also has a feeling of minimalist and purposeful svelteness: using simple clear tubing in place of fancy (and heavier) plastic or metal hardware for the strain-relief and adjustable slider at the "Y" junction.

I tried the Comfy noise isolation tips first, and I probably won’t even try out the others; the plush foam, which felt and acts just like memory foam, was incredibly comfortable, and the sound isolation was wonderful.

Combine with very good isolation and a shockingly broad (for an IEM) sound-stage and the music sounds like is coming from everywhere, and passing through me; not just bouncing around inside my skull
I don't think you can burn in BA headphones but in the interest of doing a fair review I did play these for about 60 hours with a revolving playlist to "loosen" them up
sony z7.THis hem 8 beats all but z7, but that's not in competition, it needs amp by necessity the latter, so if you got some to spend on crazy little headphones and are brave enough to pay this much for something that can cost as little as 10 bucks, GO FOR IT
