I don't think you can burn in BA headphones but in the interest of doing a fair review I did play these for about 60 hours with a revolving playlist to "loosen" them up

They are really wonderful headphones and I am now enthused about playing all my songs and hearing them the way they were MEANT to be heard!

The headphones struggle to be neutral in that they don't feature overpowering bass

The headphones stay in place and don't hurt after hours of use if I make sure they are in right, plus even at max volume on most my devices I don't disturb the people around me

The HEM 6 is an incredible headphone

They may not be a perfect "reference class" IEM, but they are still passable and an incredible pair headphones for listening to and enjoying music

but these are far and away the most comfortable headphones that I've ever worn

I would have to agree with others that these are fairly warm sounding headphones and they contrast something like the HD700s which tend to be very analytical with stunning highs

But aside from the fact the word reference will miss lead some people in the home studio business the headphones are perfect

There are plenty of cheaper headphones, like Shures, which have heavier gauge, higher quality cords, so this is really quite poor in that aspect

The same can be said of the gorgeous Shure SE846 which are simply the best in-ear headphones I have ever had the pleasure of owning

These headphones are good for the price, but there is one glaring issue with them: random disconnection from the drivers

I have owned what I thought were decent headphones; but when I put these on and played my favorite song I was amazed to hear stuff in the song that I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WAS THERE in the background!

While the price is a bit eye-opening, that doesn't take away from the fact that these headphones are great

It’s a fantastic added value, and really makes the headphone feel like its $400 price tag

It's such a shame because these are actually great sounding headphones

sony z7.THis hem 8 beats all but z7, but that's not in competition, it needs amp by necessity the latter, so if you got some to spend on crazy little headphones and are brave enough to pay this much for something that can cost as little as 10 bucks, GO FOR IT

One of The most beautiful headphones i ever has, The color is amazing, The materials are excelente and the sound is incredible

All in all the HEM6's are great headphones and if you have the money get them, especially if you are a working musiceian who wants in ear monitors.

Having read other reviews where the driver had been lost as the connection was not secure, I was concerned that it be a good fit as the company doesn't sell just one replacement driver
