The fact of the matter that it is a stand alone mixer, 2 mic, 2 aux, easy to use

Very intuitive to use, great sound, top notch platters and sliders

Sound is excellent with a good loud headphone amp, master and booth outputs, something rare these days

First off, off all the controllers I played with, this is a very impressive item

Other than that I love the Numark NS6 and recommend it to beginning and intermediate DJ's.

, NUMARK has boosted that they are the best platters ……and indeed they feel great if they did not lose touch in middle of a mix or scratch

Love my Numark it makes incredible mixes, just like a PRO, recommended

( I liked the best), Numark V7 ( 2nd best) , Turntables, to the NS6.

But here are some of them: 4 decks (2 layers), strip search, ITCH EFX, solid build quality, assignment switches for each deck, channel input capability for each channel from external sources, one-button loading, dedicated Prepare & navigation buttons, great-feel knobs, EFX assignment and the list goes on and on!Not that heavy and portable, along with the Numark RED WAVE hpz...this is going to tear up the parties

The platters are amazingly responsive feel great to use

From many Youtube videos, the Numark NS6 had many positive reviews, was more solid feeling at the store, plus this was using Itch over Traktor (more on this later)

It has a sturdy feel to it, it is incredibly easy to use right out of the box, and its function as an independent 4 channel mixer with inputs for turntables, CDJs, and other external units really sealed the deal

In theory this is a great machine and I have enjoyed using it for past 8 months now

, the browser feature of the NS6 is nice, access to the effects is clear, also you have dedicated buttons for cue points, and Sync/Cue/Play buttons

I run 4 DJ Decks, rock solid off M-Audio's Torq 2.03 and rewire the audio (slaved) into Ableton Live 8 (master).It's rock solid, the feel of the controls, and the LED feedback system... not to mention the intelligent layout is wonderful

- It's important to note that my AKAI APC40 controls live flawlessly as well, while my NS6 controls Torq just as flawlessly.

I like Torq and Ableton more with Serato Itch / Pro as another option

As a full time, professional mobile DJ, this is unacceptable for me, so I certainly won't be purchasing any Numark products in the future

I am going to buy the Numark Ns7ii and get back to the Dj style I prefer and used too.

once your a mobile dj like myself you will enjoy it, what makes it great is it can work with softwares like virtual dj and tractor pro but you will have to download the mappings from serrato, for me the only downside is the power cord could have been a little

These were left off for good reason on this controller, but if this product was perfect it would have them.

This product is obsolete and is no longer being supported by the manufacturer

This product isn't perfect, but its the closest thing you'll find.

I will NEVER buy or recommend any Numark product to anyone - it's a piece of junk

I waited more than 6 months before updating my Mac to the latest OSX version, Mavericks, and was shocked when my NS6 immediately stopped working

The NS6 isn't working the way it should

My only complaint is that the software is not stable with computers using AMD processors, so now I have to get another laptop

The Serato DJ software (available for download on Serato.com) imported all my existing settings from Serato Scratch Live

A slight problem I had was running the install program as "Administrator", I noticed this problem installing Serato Scratch Live as well

As mentioned earlier, this controller works with Serato Itch, software from the markers of Serato Scratch Live, but designed for controllers

There is limited support for the latest version of traktor (remix decks) and Serato Itch is end of line, you're stuck with a controller branded with End of Line software.

Even the Serato Itch that came with it detected it right away
