Numark NV | DJ Controller for Serato with Intelligent Dual-Display Screens & Touch-Capacitive Knob
The Numark NV reimagines the hardware-software experience for the professional DJ. At the heart of NV’s sleek, compact chassis is a set of 4.3-inch full-color screens that provide 1:1, real-time feedback of Serato DJ. Perform your set with the laptop...
The unit is compact and lightweight at only about 7 pounds, and you have balanced XLR and RCA inputs for options, the touch controls and 5 inch platters work well, and the MPC pads, although a bit smaller than it's big cousin the ns7II, They perform just the same
the fx touch sensitive filter knob is a great feature....not too big but not a toy looking controller either..great look for setting up formal events
The touch sensitive knobs are super useful and the screens get rid of the need to look at your laptop
You're getting the "FULL" Touch Sensitive experience brought over from the ns7IIYou're getting a gig worthy unit for only 700$ where as some other controllers even in this price range don't even measure up
So here are the good things:Touch FX is amazing just set the m to the level you want and then touch to set them off during the performanceJog wheel can be used to browse for the next song or skip ahead/go back when searching for your cue point
Still once I set it up correctly I loved it, small, sturdy and very sensitive knobs ( good thing)

You may also know of the musical personas known as DJs, whose job it used to be to be able to select the right set of records to play at live venues and parties using these turntables
Works ok for scratchingScreen song browser means you can go through most of your performance without looking back at the laptop, so long as you crated your music perfectly priorThe crossfader and channel eqs are easy to use and work flawlesslySlicer functionality makes looping and layering easy which also makes transitions smoother and more n00b friendlyBuilt in headphone amp is good enough for a decent set of DJ cans and the mixer option to hear your next track with the current one in preview mode rocks, and again helps make
Advanced if you already are a controller person or acoustic Dj (turntables, CDJ's, Mixer) and you want to elevate your sets and or fully be able to use the new Serato DJ experience without having to buy add on equipment.

The best controller in its price range with great quality effects.
While the sound quality and layout of this board is fantastic, the decision to have the mic and aux switch on the same line is terrible
The controller is sturdy, and the sound quality is amazing
Great build quality, features for days, loads of MIDI mappable buttons that come pre-mapped for Serato, and those screens that I cannot praise highly enough

the only one that works 100 percent of the time with no issues my look like a toy but is the most reliable one in regards to responsiveness of the jog wheel great mic output is the original mixtrack pro
The Mic gain has to be turned all the way up to get decent mic volume output unless you are a screamer in the mic.
I had to turn my monitors down to almost -60db, and still have to keep the master output knob at about 15%

Overall though, tons of fun, and I'm continuing to discover all kinds of neat little surprises, like how you can scale the beat grid by just holding a button and using the jog, or how twisting the knob next to the LCD momentarily drops that screen into your crates so you can find the next track, and then pops back to the waveforms when you load it
Still once I set it up correctly I loved it, small, sturdy and very sensitive knobs ( good thing)

The EQ and effect knobs, on the other hand, are really responsive and nice to turn, with a small grove in them at the resting position for easy retuning to home
The screens are easy to read and tracks load very fast in Serato library

The screens and weight make it better in my opinion than the NS7II
