NuTone S97016565 Heating Element for Heater

    • The exhaust fan portion has continued to work reliably
    • Nice and expensive fan/heater/light kit with a POS heater element
    • The fan did have some internal dust which will impede the air flow
    • Burnt out the next morning.. ended up nutone had defective fans
    • Fan light, vent and heater type of bathroom fixture
    • As advertised, fit my fan and works but disappointed in how long they last
    • While I replaced the Heating element, I cleaned its blower fan and exhaust fan housing
    • The problem was the fan, as it aged, it slowed down letting the air get to the 100C fuse limit
    • The fan is a little noisy in the heater, probably will go next...
    • The draw fan and light work fine, as does the heat fan blower.
    • It's a nice fan and fairly expensive, so rather than buy a new one, I found this.
    • Easy installation in the NuTone fan/vent/heater ceiling combo.
    • Our old bathroom vent fan/heater was at least 35 years old when it finally gave up the ghost
    • I checked the government website and there are no recalls for this bathroom heater/vent fan as far as I could tell
    • While I replaced the Heating element, I cleaned its blower fan and exhaust fan housing
    • Hours and hours later, fan was blowing without heat
    • I like best though is the extremely modular design of the unit (light, vent fan, heater) that made it so easy to replace the failing part
    • NuTone said that this unit also had heater fan/motor that did not blow hard/fast enough to keep the heater element from overheating.
    • Our ceiling unit works both as a bathroom fan as well as heater.
    • The factory original heating element that came with my NuTone fan burned out in a matter of weeks
    • You have to blow out your fan about once a year to clean all the dust off it.
    • Our blood runs cold (we live in the Northeast where the winters are cold) and we always use our little ceiling heater in the bathroom to warm the room up before showering as well as during showers to stay warm.
