The exhaust fan portion has continued to work reliably

Nice and expensive fan/heater/light kit with a POS heater element

The fan did have some internal dust which will impede the air flow

The problem was the fan, as it aged, it slowed down letting the air get to the 100C fuse limit

The draw fan and light work fine, as does the heat fan blower.

It's a nice fan and fairly expensive, so rather than buy a new one, I found this.

I like best though is the extremely modular design of the unit (light, vent fan, heater) that made it so easy to replace the failing part

NuTone said that this unit also had heater fan/motor that did not blow hard/fast enough to keep the heater element from overheating.

Our ceiling unit works both as a bathroom fan as well as heater.

The factory original heating element that came with my NuTone fan burned out in a matter of weeks

You have to blow out your fan about once a year to clean all the dust off it.

Our blood runs cold (we live in the Northeast where the winters are cold) and we always use our little ceiling heater in the bathroom to warm the room up before showering as well as during showers to stay warm.
