NuTone S97016565 Heating Element for Heater

    • Don't know if the newer models have fixed their defective heater element.
    • the heater had quit working in the fan and he was ready to replace the entire bath fan
    • The heater worked perfectly for over five years
    • I also read the reviews here on Amazon and saw that heaters for my unit were a huge problem, burning out frequently - with the assertion being made that the soldered fuse (which was castigated for being soldered rather than easily replaced by most people - which would make repair easy and far less costly) was set to fail when the temperature exceeded a certain threshold - something that seemed to occur frequently, especially if the heater was left on too long
    • I just went out and bought a table top heater for 20 bucks at the local hardware store and have it in between the sinks and works a lot better than this piece of junk.
    • Heater working very well so far.
    • Blows cold air, heater not working.
    • Not sure why the heater in the fan stopped working after 8 months in the first place.
    • Easy replacement for Broan bathroom heating element and cost effective when there is no need to replace the entire bathroom vent/heater unit.
    • My Nutone heater is working again.
    • The heater has been working without a problem.
    • The heater portion of my Broan Nutone bathroom fan/light/heater stopped working in fewer than 6 months after the unit was installed and i had gone without the heater for a few years
    • Heater failed after 6 months of use.
    • This NuTone heater makes our bathroom nice and warm while taking a shower
    • These heaters work fine but they don't last long enough
    • NuTone said that this unit also had heater fan/motor that did not blow hard/fast enough to keep the heater element from overheating.
    • I have owned my Nutone heater/light/vent device for about 10 years.
    • I wish they would make the thermal resistor or whatever the component is that burns out a little more robust or make just that component be replaceable, so you don't have to throw away a perfectly good heater element just for one tiny component.
    • Our ceiling unit works both as a bathroom fan as well as heater.
    • The old heater was burned because of dust built on the element and this made perfect replacement for the heater
    • After about seven years of running like a champ our heater in the bathroom broke and started blowing cold air (just in time for a cold spell that was coming in).
    • Our blood runs cold (we live in the Northeast where the winters are cold) and we always use our little ceiling heater in the bathroom to warm the room up before showering as well as during showers to stay warm.
