followed instructions - burned all the chocolate and awful burning smell that was described as 'normal' by the instruction manual came off of it

We had to just do trial and error and the first time had it too high and burned the chocolate

Bought it so I can melt chocolate without worrying about burning it.. and works like a charm

Done with no burned chocolate and will keep warm as long as you want
