This unit has worked as described

There are more expensive units out there but why spend the money

The unit worked immediately and broadcast the DirecTV channel to the other set simultaneously.

:The units are very nice, but the lights could be a bit distracting if they are near the TV

Our unit keeps randomly losing the signal necessitating a re-sync which is a bit of a pain.

So I thought I would throw my unbiased review out to help others out.**UPDATE**I received a replacement unit, after my original product malfunctioned, from the manufacturer after they saw my displeasure with the failing unit of my original review.

I recommend this unit for this scenario

The units are easy to connect, look nice and work very well.

The Nyrius unit was much easier to install (start up) and the TV picture appears to be clearer than the Actiontec.

The units were very easy to install.

First unit was purchased in June 2015 and it failed in June 2016.

The units are unreliable and do not reliably link past 10-15 feet (line of sight).

The units constantly lose their connection

So far the unit is working great, with only minor alignment issues during set up.

It has a good fit and finish, but the units do run noticeably hot, which might be the cause of the failures.

The unit worked intermittently when I first installed for a friend.

so I know my unit has zero interference

also moved both units around and disabled any potential RF interference around the units

The unit itself works perfectly, once you get it set up properly

The unit has been working perfectly with my cable box (Comcast/xfinity), the picture is great and stable, so far no cut outs.

This product did not have a range as advertised and wasn't as good as the previous wireless unit I had but didn't support HD boxes

But this unit is very finicky and loses connectivity with each other when put in standby mode.

Other than that, the unit works wonderfully.

I can't say much about the distance since my two units are in adjoining rooms about 25 feet apart with one wall in between but it works great, HD video is great quality and now showing output from one set-top box to two HDTVs.

Overall, this unit works great if you meet some requirements like the cabling speed and distance

Once it was all hooked up, I pressed the buttons, the units connected and it works like a charm!

This unit is very good at broadcasting high definition signals a long distance if unobstructed, or shorter distances if there are a lots of walls, floors, or other obstructions.

The bottom line is that the units I received were a complete rip off and waste of my time, money and effort dealing with them.

We considered getting an additional Box Top unit from our provided or go wireless for a TV in our Kitchen that is seldom used.

My only worry however is that both units get pretty hot, especially the receiver.

The unit is bit pricey but a solid solution if you have a remote location or just don't want to pay for another receiver

Despite that, this unit works wonderfully
