    • Would recommend this for anyone who has a difficult hard wire situation.
    • It does not like energized wires near the receiver
    • If we wanted to watch TV, we needed to either snake the ugly wire all the way along the length of the apartment, or rip up the hard wood flooring to try to hide
    • but I believe it is just loose wiring
    • I had a cat 5 wire go bad and needed a way to get a signal 25' from a receiver to my projector without having to run cable through walls and ceilings
    • Very close to a hard wired
    • If you are looking for a 100% iron clad solution, then you need to hard wire
    • I compared with actual hard wired connection, I could not see a noticeable drop in quality
    • Though, if your need is for 2 devices in the same room, I am sure you can come up with a wired strategy that would work 100% of the time.

    • I switched to a hard wire set up with a splitter and have had much better performance
    • up to 30 ft tall so running wires inconspicuously is extremely hard
    • I might as well have wired this connection to begin with.
    • If I look closely, I can see where the picture isn't quite as sharp as direct wired HD, but it is barely noticable at normal viewing distance.
    • It does not like energized wires near the receiver
    • The difference between the hard-wired HDMI and wireless connection is virtually indistinguishable
    • Being a Low Voltage Tech, I prefer Wire over wireless
    • This has allowed me to store both in the cabinet and achieve 1080p without having to deal with ugly wires
    • Remember: if you had that tv hard-wired with cable to begin with, you would have needed to rent an extra cable box anyway
