Some good apps to get started are Netflix, Hulu, bigscreen, altspace vr, and poker vr
-
The app is easy to set up on the phone, although there's no way to skip the annoyingly long "warnings and safety" little video.
-
App wise, coaster combat is the family
-
Media Server also has an amazing app they are working on
-
The positives - I always read that there aren't enough good apps, and to a great extent it is true, but despite of that some of the available apps are really nice and fun to have e.g. racket fury, ultrawing, swat academy...etc
-
Definitely very cool, but after a few weeks it's just repetitive, and all the good apps have to be paid for
-
Plenty of free apps to download to keep you busy
-
The Amaze app is truly immersive
-
You will get soon tired to run apps like the rollercoasters, after a bit, but then you will start to explore the 360 experiences, or the VR apps that are less games and more relaxing experiences, like meditation ones, puzzle ones and such
-
No shortage of free apps.
-
Sure, the browser works GREAT, but if you want the super high quality YouTube app with its easy login and ability to manage your queue from your phone, think again
-
Watch apps like Netflix, Within, or a browser on a big screen, wherever you want, laying down in bed, or seating in a couch is a must to try.
-
This is just the start, the free app games are great and watching a film with Nextflix takes it to a whole new level.
-
Games are not included, but there are plenty of free apps, experiences, and titles for you to download and try out
-
My nit picks are the apps are pretty weak (the free roller coaster app made me sick as a dog lol), the battery drains surprisingly fast and the browser has a tendency to crash...but that stuff aside you should totally get this and try it...the novelty of it outweighs the downside.
-
The content is vast & there's a lot of free apps, games, videos etc
-
You can use the app to "purchase" apps as well
-
Samsung Gear VR provides more flexibility not only for launching any type of VR (GO only allows Oculus VR -contains the popular apps) whereas Samsung Gear VR there are so many more VR options as well as more ways to test apps for developers.
-
I had no issues setting up the Go using the Oculus App on a Samung Note 5
-
Good apps.
-
Updated: I changed it from 4 star to 1 star because the Go has issues with some modems where you cant watch a single tv show or any app that you loose wifi up to 5 times per hour
-
l lot of free apps too
-
APP said (12may 2018) that its NOT AVAILABLE IN MY REGION.(I'm in New Zealand)Thats always infuriating to read when us non Usa based consumers read that
-
Cool apps are Art Plunge, Dead and Buried, Anne Frank House, Gala, and Ocean Rift
-
I bought two for family use with the great Melodyvr app
-
It runs very nice, the touch controller tracking is great, and the apps are awesome for some fun features
-
This one app makes the device worth the purchase price.- 120” screen for Netflix
-
My main gripes with the system have been app-specific; mostly the issues I run into with Hulu VR
-
but it'd be even better if it supported either an Xfinity Stream app or even just a stream from a computer.
-
some apps we love are affected, face your fear (stranger things), melody vr (concerts eg the who, imagine dragons), next vr (nba and others) disney vr,
-
; the app looks great and works great too
-
Be advised some apps require good WiFi to work correctly.- Wander
-
Last, there are some free apps like the NY Times that have quality content hidden under their free shells that are worth digging for
-
Lots of useful apps in the Oculus stor make this VR headset super useful as a product of entertainment and even productivity
-
Works here as well as on the full version
