Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Reality Headset - 32GB

    • This is a good VR headset for the money, the games and apps are very good and very realistic
    • After the handfull or so of good games, you'll be stuck with watching people's 3D photos and videos, as there isn't much else this thing had to offer
    • My family loves playing games on it, watch movies, and watch live events with other family
    • ability.- Quite a few of the games available in their app store are shockingly short / brief in playtime, which was kind of a disappointing surprise.
    • Besides media content, games are actually really fun, but with the limited controller and lack of basic, fun, free games to get started with, the headset never inspired me to slog through shovel-ware and risk purchasing games with limited gameplay
    • You cannot beat the price and the games are really fun
    • Fundamentally this is an updated version of what a DK1 kit used to look like (minus the PC attached to it, which is quite an accomplishment).Although there are few games available for the device, that are worth playing and buying; they are available also for the Rift and Vive, so you can consider them ports
    • The VR worlds, 3D surround videos, "Wander" (ability to go most anywhere in the world and see it in 360 degree view), educational potential for children, virtual reality social worlds (Vtime, Altspace, Oculus Rooms, Oculus Venues, etc.), even invite friends from Facebook to join you in a room to watch movies, play games, hang out and have fun...
    • Has played many games online and loves it.
    • This is just the start, the free app games are great and watching a film with Nextflix takes it to a whole new level.
    • The content is vast & there's a lot of free apps, games, videos etc
    • The couple games I’ve tried so far were fun
    • One last note, if you havent played Endspace on your VR you are missing out on one of the best games for your gear.
    • Oculus Go even has small speakers on the sides which do a really decent job of creating a sound stage full enough to enjoy a game without headphones.
    • As far as games are concerned they’re pretty amazing but they are mobile games after all
    • Besides media content, games are actually really fun, but with the limited controller and lack of basic, fun, free games to get started with, the headset never inspired me to slog through shovel-ware and risk purchasing games with limited gameplay
    • a simple arcade experience.- Ocean Rift is very neat and well-animated, but is really just for impressing friends after the first thirty minutes.- Skylight seems like the perfect game for me (turn based space strategy on a holo-interface), but is clearly designed for the Gear VR and does not work properly with the Go controller as of writing.- Anshar Online has potential, but desperately needs a new control scheme (which the developers are committed to - kudos to them) and has one of the most unattractive micro-transaction stores I've
    • On the other hand if you want to watch movies wireless and don't mind playing cartoonish, cell phone style games then this is for you
    • Keep your expectations in check is my biggest suggestion because you wont have access to games like horseshoes and hang grenades, dont expect to go anywhere near Rift apps or games, will only have access to what the Gear Vr currently does or the Go section of software, this is Mobile VR through and through its not compatible with Rift.in fact i feel the best purpose this device will serve is media
    • The Go has some extremely cool games but watching media is my favorite activity for this device
    • Color is rather bad for VR.4)The headset is still way too heavy, measured at 487g
    • Works here as well as on the full version
