I love the vr, I don't like it for it get to hot sometime to overlode the altspace app and playing the play list all the time

I have enjoyed using the Oculus Go to take-in 360-degree content on YouTube & Vimeo as well as the Oculus & Within VR content that is directly accessible through the main library.

so far oculus go is the best 360 vr device that is under $200

A great stand-alone VR headset for $199 in the year 2018 sounds to good to be true

Not compatible with Google Cardboard or Daydream VR

Since this is a competitor to Daydream standalone units this shouldn't be shocking, but seeing as it runs a forked version of Android, it should technically be very easy to turn GO into an excellent Daydream VR headset, but competition and business strategy will never likely let that happen.

Oculus has created a really comfortable VR experience

Now as others pointed out your not getting full blown PC vr, but the content and videos are just as impressive.

It makes using VR so easy and convenient

I am a VIVE user and have had a Gear VR that eventually broke my phone

Oculus has a huge library of apps and experiences from the Gear VR ready for it and even more to come!

The Gear VR is cool but is really a pain to use for a variety of reasons

As the (Go) name implies, the category of product here is quality portable stand one VR

Conclusion: While this might now compare in terms of content or experience to a computer based headset it is still a great VR experience

There is quite a bit of free VR software of the OG, particularly travel software

It also makes a nice portable VR experience, as nothing else is required

Was a very cheap and cool introduction to VR, however I kind of lost interest a few months after the new wore ofd

For portable easy gaming VR I will take it and does not overheat like my old Samsung Galaxy vr.

I would even argue necessary in order to get developers to create these constrained VR experiences that can be enjoyed without much or any movement for travel

He loves the VR and luckily he's only allowed to use it an hour a day so that leaves plenty of time for me to use it to watch Netflix

But the above problem should really be solved by AR theater, not by VR.You can check iGlass AR website out and see what type of improvement AR could offer vs VR, in term of safety, public space use and motion sickness free.

With oculus go just throw on, its like the apple device of VR it just works and so much better and faster than other VR

If you are on Google Daydream with a hi-end smartphone - you can still consider an Oculus Go upgrade - for a better screen resolution and phone-free VR experience

It is a great starter to see what VR is like and the investment is relatively small.

I would recommend Samsung's Vr app which is basically YouTube for VR and free and you can download videos.

If you have never tried VR before you are missing out for sure.

My background for the record: I keep up on a lot of tech, but due to my current preference for the iOS universe, VR has been tough.

I know I've not experienced Samsung VR or true Oculus capability

this little $200 beauty FAR surpasses the abilities of a the smart phone vr

I think this is currently the best VR out there for the money

Oculus Go has resolved these issues of the Gear VR and made it usable.

On the plus side, everything I purchased on the Gear VR was available for the Go without any additional cost

It is hard to beat the price point of $200 for a decent VR experience
