Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Reality Headset - 64GB

    • I have found that keeping the headset as tight as possible (via the side straps) provides the best experience.
    • I can just take off the headset and watch my big screen 4k TV to get a better experience
    • I do not personally see how vr, using avatars, will make for an improved social experience, though that too may change as the technology evolves
    • But I hope to compliment it with a good pair of headphones for truly enjoyable movie experience.
    • The Gameboy to PSVR and Vive’s PS4.I’ve been using my Vive and PSVR since launch and I enjoy the more robust gaming experiences, like Wipeout and
    • Just pick up a harbor freight hard case for it (an Apache 1800 is a perfect fit) for $15 and you'll have all you need for a great VR experience.
    • The resolution is just enough to make the experience emersive while still working on a phone processor
    • and I like it a lot and have had some very cool experiences with it.
    • It will create an instant sensation (until everyone has bought one for themselves) and is an amazing (sometimes frightening) experience
    • So instead, I opted to use my iPhone 6s in a rather cheap headset - even though I was fully aware this wasn’t the best VR experience available
    • If you have to buy a PC and a Rift, the experiences you get on that are not worth the extra almost $1200
    • The Go is not as robust an experience as the Rift, but almost, and you don't need a high-end computer, cables, and sensors to operate it
    • Great VRReally enjoyed it with my son, wonderful experience with No wires or phone attached!Reached to UAE very quickly!Recommended
    • so while there may not be as many experience options as the RIFT, I have had no trouble buying and playing the games in just one bundle so far, and there are so many experiences available, I likely will never play or watch them all.
    • I also enjoyed Viso Places quite a lot though the experience was tempered by the inability to interact
    • Overall the experience is pretty good but after 3-4 days of use, it now has a small cluster of dead pixels in the bottom left corner of the right eye
    • In some cases, the audio/visual experience is flawless and truly engrossing
    • I instead bought the Rift cables and all; received it today set it up and it had it on for a couple of hours and found it to be comfortable and a much, much better experience
    • It delivers a solid VR experience that is superior to units that are far more pricey, and is well designed and engineered from the ground up
    • There are educational apps about the solar system and artwork that are really cool experiences, but they aren't programs you'd come back to on a daily basis
    • Great Experience in my life
    • But darn Oculus the experience could have been so much better for not very much more money
    • I started playing some games as well, and am really enjoying the VR experience.
    • What I didn't expect was how good the entire experience was related to the software
    • so you can have a more realistic experience with this movement
    • Battery life at around slightly over 90 minutes really limits your experience, the lack of 6DOF (the ability to lean in and out) limits the immersion experience and the app library leaves much to be desired
    • It provides a reasonably good VR experience without breaking the bank
    • so while there may not be as many experience options as the RIFT, I have had no trouble buying and playing the games in just one bundle so far, and there are so many experiences available, I likely will never play or watch them all.
    • Completely ruins the experience
    • The Go is not as robust an experience as the Rift, but almost, and you don't need a high-end computer, cables, and sensors to operate it
    • I was very impressed with the Oculus Go and have been enjoying my VR experience.
    • It will create an instant sensation (until everyone has bought one for themselves) and is an amazing (sometimes frightening) experience
    • What an amazing experience took a few days for my eye to get use to VR
    • The educational experiences are fun too if you like astronomy of other sciences.
    • The experience is amazing.
    • It's easy to use, it's fun, and it's interesting - the whole experience is NOT seamless yet, but the Oculus Go seems to have the foundation in place to get there.
    • Wow, this is our first experience with virtual reality at home, and we are simply blown away
    • If you've never experienced VR yet, DO NOT bother with the "Welcome to VR" app.
    • It is good enough to demonstrate that many of the issues to make VR a good experience has been solved
    • The battery life is very reasonable (a couple hours), the resolution and refresh rates do a very good job to maintain a great experience, the sound through the strap is very innovative and convenient, and the controller is perfect for this application.
    • It provides a reasonably good virtual reality experience, with a 360 degree view, and good resolution (2560 x 1440 wqhd, led over oled screen).
    • I have played the Rift, and although the Go lacks some depth and playability with only 1 handset, for the price it provides a wonderful experience.
    • The Oculus Go is a great VR experience
    • Once mounted, visually the Go provides a great colorful experience.
    • It is an enjoyable and amazing experience for those 15 minutes and you could probably use it twice a day without any permanent fatigue
    • Waiting for better games and experiences, otherwise will wait for the next version...but this was really cool.
    • So many apps & such amazing experiences
    • However, thankfully Oculus has included a headphone port so that you can use standard headphones to get a much better audible experience.
    • While I think the adults have had more fun with this, it definitely gives everyone a great VR experience for the price.
    • It does, however, point up the advisability of headphones if you are using the headset to listen to music (and it likely enhances the gaming experience as well) the sound stage on thhe built on speakers is not very well developed.
