Oculus Rift + Touch Virtual Reality System

    • Third sensors are a nightmare for keeping connected as well as the Headset and blank screen issues.
    • If the headset worked the sensors didn't and vice versa
    • Other Thoughts: I wear glasses and had no real problem using this headset with them
    • The headset itself works great, and I like
    • June 2018 here, I wanted to hate this headset because I'm very anti-facebook and anti-zuckerberg, but I can't hate it, I love it
    • The headset was amazing at first but the right lens screen stopped working after 20 or 30 minutes of use.
    • It was a great price but concerned how I can contact the seller on how to see if the headset is defective.
    • The headset was dark
    • it's a flat out awesome headset for VR
    • This headset is SO much fun to use
    • If you are getting into VR gaming or development, I highly recommend this headset.
    • Unfortunately, the headset turned out to be defective and I couldn't even get past the Oculus setup without the headset cutting out and crashing my computer
    • It's a comfortable headset that I've worn for hours at a time when in a gaming session
    • The controls are intuitive, the headset is mostly comfortable although those who wear glasses will find it more awkward
    • IMO this headset is better than the HTC Vive because of the Oculus Touch controllers, overall ease of use, number/Immersion of games (having hands instead of sticks helps), and the fact that it has a much lower price
    • The headset is comfortable, the Touch controllers feel so natural, it's a really fantastic experience.
    • great headset
    • I traded in my xim4 PS4 Kb/m converter, since i sold my PS4, and it cut 80 bucks off the cost of this headset making it 310$ USD which imo made this hands down the best value headset you can get period.
    • The headset is just long enough that it isn't a bother unless you turn over 360 once and the sensor lines have little slack
    • I read that the headset is pretty sensitive to jarring and damage so it might have been caused by an over-zealous delivery company.
    • I'd be over-joyed if I could've at least been able to play my non-VR games using the headset, like TR, MGSV, Deus-EX, but alas, either problems with compatibility, or 3rd party software through the roof in prices, or going through some other unnecessary methods just to simply play a game
    • Fully comfortable headset even with neck issues
    • Damn headset gets itchy, itchy itchy
    • I tend to find myself getting motion sick after long play periods before the headset itself feels uncomfortable
    • Damn headset gets itchy, itchy itchy
    • The headset is super responsive and along with the controllers really give you that lag free feeling that you're looking for
    • Headset is lightweight, easy to setup
    • Even if you don't wanna spend the 400 of the rift, I would at least consider one of the cheaper mixed reality headsets.
    • I literally can't focus at work because all I want to do is go home and shoot some stuff in VR!As far as the product itself goes, I'm sure it will continue to improve over time, as the screen is still fairly pixelated, the headset is not as easy to adjust as it could be, and the foam on the back of the headset literally serves as a sponge for sweaty people, making it really unpleasant to pass the headset around, but overall it works incredibly well and completes the task of immersing you in the game
    • Every moment you have the headset on is incredible.
    • Overall the headset and strap feels like a much better designed product from a design standpoint, even if the Vive might be more accurate of a headset
    • Headset is dark except for infrequent flashes
    • Headset-------------Extremely comfortable to use
    • The headset isn't extremely glasses friendly
    • Comfortable (headset and controllers), light (headset and controllers), low price, perfect tracking, detachable virtual surround sound headphones
    • Therefore you can wait a couple of years until there's better content and even better headsets without feeling that you're missing much.
    • the headset died within a year.
    • The headset is quite comfortable, and the setup is intuitive and really well explained
    • This headset is also far more comfortable and does not plug my nose or cut into my face frrom the pressure like other headsets do
    • The headset can get hot fast and you might start sweating on your face.
    • loving the headset
    • Granted I did spend more than that for accessories, I purchased a 3rd sensor, 3 USB extension cables, 1 hdmi extension cable, a face cover, a secondary HDD, and some stuff to hang the headset's cable on the ceiling, but the extras aren't necessary
    • Now, for the fun stuff, after you own this awesome headset:At Christmas this year, Oculus put on a daily sale with two different games on sale each days for 12 days.
    • the strap on the right side tends to feel a bit weird, like it's not tightening the headset like it should be
    • I like this headset.
    • I spent $599.99+ on a product that barely lasted me 2 years because it was designed to fail in this manner?I have read reports of users that are outside their 1 year warranty experiencing this exact issue and THEY were given a free headset
    • The headset is not comfortable with my glasses - it puts a lot of weigh on the nose pieces and becomes pretty uncomfortable after more than a half hour and no amount of adjusting has helped.
    • I still feel that I have wasted $400.00 with nothing to show for it but a pile of wires and a USELESS headset
    • But I wouldn't recommend that headset any way because the image quality is the only advantage, everything else is a disappointment, including the insane price
    • Nice headset
    • Only things I would change, ditch the earphone things (if you're a real gamer, you'll have a good headset already and it works well with one, center head strap starts to hurt after a while, though), move the center strap attachment farther forward on the screen
    • I did have some problems with the software recognizing the headset and
    • and I am currently in search for a better headset
    • Although Oculus recommends a 7ft by 5ft area, you can get away with a little less
    • Well worth the purchase, but I do recommend getting a third sensor for good 360 tracking, an HDMI and USB 3.0 extension cable, as well as at least two active USB 3.0 extenders for any sensors that are placed further away from the PC
    • The touch controller, however great they are, they definitely make it hard to stick your finger up along your nose to scratch an
    • From there I followed as close as I could afford to gaming tech
    • Not as sharp as I would have liked but that kind of sharpness costs a lot more money.
    • The product feels premium as well as it should coming from Facebook
    • You need some room to enjoy t
