The VR really is an experience and exceeded my expectations

I still enjoy playing VR whenever I can.

I love the Oculus Rift and VR in general, but it definitely has it's pros and cons

Unless you try a good quality VR like this, you cannot fully understand how immersive and awesome it is to be in the VR world

I do believe that VR is the future and that it can only improve from here on out

I'm running a VR ready PC, and I still get a noticeable amount of lag

On the game side most of VR titles out there work with oculus, while the oculus store have a few games that worth the price, steam have the rest of titles and there is no problem playing VR on steam with your oculus, aside from titles that are more exclusive for vive like fallout 4VR or skyrim, but there are a few tricks to be able to play it as if they were for both systems

Another win is that the Oculus has access to all the Vive game without the need for any hacks or tech savvy (just download steam vr)All in all, if its archery practice, checking out the solar system or killing rogue robots, I am able to completely immerse myself in other worlds as well as my own (Google earth VR is amazing

The touch controllers make this an outstanding VR value.

I recommend an Oculus Rift VR Cover (Green 2 pack).....as you will get a lot of sweat on the interface and the covers make cleaning it easy.

THE GOOD• Jaw dropping experience: I've tried VR before on the PS4 and the HTC Vive, but only the Rift blew my mind

Also while there are great Vr games, even the best ones feel half finished and buggy

The kit itself was not bad everything you need to have a great vr play time.. but being honest it really needs that third sensor -.- all in all so much fun and everyone needs to try it

It really shows how VR can be utilized to enhance more traditional games, rather than just for first person experiences.

The Rift is a great entry level VR that I would recommend in a heartbeat

Bottom Line: I was going to wait for gen 2 before I ever tried modern VR, but the experience was that great for me and was akin to my first time popping super mario 64 into a N64 and playing a 3d game for the first time

Overall I HIGHLY recommend experiencing VR to anyone and everyone.

And to top of off, if you want to play fallout 4 vr at ALL you have to do some tinkering on 3rd party software to be able to play it without losing your mind trying to navigate the menus

I want to say that VR isn't ready for the consumer, but that would be unfair to the competitors

Your mileage may vary, but playing New Vegas with software like vorpx is more like a pop-up book instead of a full VR experience like Fallout 4.

Decent mid-tier vr system

This is a great VR

My son saved up his birthday and Xmas money for 2 years to buy a VR, and when he got his VR in he loved it, played it all the time, and all of a sudden on day the screen would go black when you were playing then come back and go black again everytime you moved around

And as far as motion sickness, that's just common with intense VR games, the fault isn't the Rift, it;s our own senses not handling VR well - simply put, don't play games rated

Modern VR has the same problem in that you can't understand what it is until you experience it.

You must understand VR is still very new, and when it works (40-50%) of the time its really cool.. with that said the frustration of constantly re-calibrating the sensors gets really old

VR are fun, all is left is to wait for more games...

Some regular games I play in vr thanks to VorpX are Skyrim SE, Fallout 4, Deus Ex, No Man's Sky, and FF15 just to name a few

If you dive right into some faster-motion VR activities, or try use it for long periods, right away, it's only going to make you nauseous
