Oculus Rift - Virtual Reality Headset

    • (Looks like an internally broken HDMI cable - googling around, this seems to be a problem.)
    • The Rift should have a triple pronged cable at the end, allowing you to connect to either HDMI, DVI or Displayport
    • Too many stiff cables and devices to track of, design needs to be cleaned up for prime time use
    • It had no wrapping or covers over the lenses the cables were a mess and just
    • Here's my verdict:Pros:-comfortable-very natural-good headphones-good cable length that doesn't tangle-software from Oculus-experiences and games are awesomeCons:-screen is not as sharp-blurry areas, pixels show-can only take an hour or so
    • The first one I purchased had a bad hdmi cable the screen would flash in and out
    • The thinner, single-cable solution of the Oculus Rift is much more manageable and less trip-likely than the thicker/fatter multi-cable bundle of the HTC Vive
    • Also, my video card lacks a DVR port, so extending the cable from the helmet is not a possibility
    • Main downside are the cables, but I just looped them behind the desk, it was less obstructive than I thought it would be
    • I reseated the cable on the headset and it still doesn't work.
    • every message (George, Alma, Joana, Alice, Norma etc all in 1 ticket!!!) and 3) ditch the customer claiming his system is unsupported, even if the problem is physical and in the Oculus only (e.g.: defective Oculus cable)
    • Super light, Very comfortable, the cable isnt too hard to manage, but you have to be aware of it, buying it with the gift card combo amazon had was a smart choice for me as it allowed me to upgrade my Pc for cheaper as well
    • Not only did the product arrive with a loose cable, but even while it was working the sensor refused to pick up the headset itself
    • I love the integrated headphones, the comfort of the headset, the tangle-free cables and the accuracy
    • Finding a good USB C to HDMI adapter has been a hassle the best one so far has been the Bestbuy house brand out of 4 I have tried
    • So Install Windows 10 on bootcamp and get a good USB C to hdmi and your good to go
    • And, as much as I love it, it stopped working as of 5/25/17
    • The *only* cons I can think of:Wired connection to the PC is prone to tangle around you as you play, but if you have someone nearby to help untangle is not a big deal
