Don't waste your money, download it for free if you can, and beware attaching external stuff to it, the OS will lock youu out of being able to use the externals on ANYTHING but that computer it's installed on

IF YOU CARE ABOUT PRIVACY.I had to send this back to Amazon for a refund because the OS kept crashing sometimes while gaming, other times I would step away and come back to a shut down PC only to turn it back on and see a blue screen of death

Linux is a free OS with lots of free applications.

Fast boot, nice look, some returns to familiar OS's prior to 8, customization, and stability thus far, makes this a decent OS, far superior to Windows 8

It's actually a rock-solid, very smooth OS, the most solid Windows I've used, actually

Solid OS, installed on 4 of my computers, upgrade worked well on systems with existing apps installed

With all the great OS options out there it's sometimes hard to justify the price for windows, but 10 is an improvement still over 7 which I had used previously.

I like that it is a very stable OS.

So in short its a decent OS, but it gets a 4/5 due to data collecting and what i would call unnecessary "bloatware" that i have no need for.

Fast OS, not laggy on aging PCs, but drover support is limited, even in new computers, drivers tend to crash on top, windows update will push down your throat their Microsoft drivers, which end breaking things

I loved Windows 7, it always was and will probably always be my favorite OS

The OS itself is very nice, my main complaint is that it has an automatic update feature that is not easily disabled

With all of the hassles of this - you are better off spending the money to get the Professional Version or do yourself a favor get a Linux OS like Ubuntu version or an Apple

I had figured that Microsoft would have spent some time improving their OS after the Windows 8 debacle, but I was wrong

The computer I replaced had Windows XP which was a terrible OS

Do yourself a favor and go with a free OS such as Ubuntu or Linux Mint.

I’ve been a somewhat loyal Windows user since I first used NT in a video store we owned and have lamented every time an OS I liked, like 98, ME & 7, were dropped

The company who sent this program to me is not the problem its a Microsoft thing almost as bad as the Vista OS.

The OS is crystal clear in some applications, and pretty blurry in others

It's amazing how far windows has come from 95SE2 but seriously, this OS isn't half bad

I spent thousands building my ultimate gaming PC finally got all the parts together, intalled the OS nice and smooth

Quick Launch can be made to appear with some Registry editing (I would advise Googling it - carefully!) yet the icons in this DIY Quick Launch now cannot be centered in the Toolbar and they stay misaligned to the Task View button; the option of which icons and how to appear in the Taskbar is missing; whereas, this latest shinny OS refuses to learn that I do not like every shortcut to have a "Shortcut to" prefix to every shortcut I create -

This is a good OS compared to Windows 8

I bought my roommate a Toshiba laptop with Windows 8.1 installed - not a very user friendly OS.

I had to revert back to 7 sadly as this new OS suffered from everything including a lot of DPC lag and extra bandwidth use

This OS is unbelievably slow, a witches concoction of a PC and a tablet, and seems like one giant add.

This OS is a huge headache

So if your vista computer cannot handle it don't blame the OS but your computer

No problem loading the OS

If you can bother turning off all those "extra" features during setup or don't mind your privacy, its a good OS with a fast boot time and plays nicely with all your hardware and software.

However I do prefer this OS over 8.1 because i like the start menu of 7 better than 8.1 and they brought it back with 10

Not a bad OS, but be careful what you allow it to do

My advice to those of you who don't like it is to just learn the software, because I've used everything from Mac OS X to Debian to Ubuntu to Solaris, and Windows 10 is one of the easiest modern OS's to work with, and it doesn't require constantly modifying directories to emulate Windows-only programs

The OS looks absolutely fantastic and is by far my favorite version of windows, if set up correctly

I did take a star away for the constant alerts to get office, as well as the OS monitoring and sending usage reports to other companies

I really really tried to like this OS

There is also a lot of Windows/X-Box selling going on (no doubt why the OS is free), I encountered many errors in basic things like Settings screen, and its unclear why Settings and the Control Panel have overlap

I'm so sorry that I got stuck with this crappy OS

Most recent update ruined the OS

Windows 10 was a quick and easy install, and overall a great OS.
