As I said I haven’t played with a lot of the streaming features, but I suspect the problems people are encountering are fixable with firmware updates (assuming they are not just one-off set-up issues) and central media hubs are clearly the wave of the future, so having a drive with tons of storage that can also fit that role is clearly an advantage

I do realize some people had problems with this, but I did not notice too much of a problem.

I can not express this hard enough on you people

It just boggles my mind how people at such a large and supposedly successful company could be so absolutely brain dead stupid as Seagate is obviously.

Great way to scam people in the name of a storage device and then asking for more money when it goes bad

This thing is junk, has people complaining all over their forums, and Seagate has done nothing to correct or acknowledge the issues

So I guess I am asking a lot apparently, some people have had trouble with what I am trying to attempt.

Next, look at how many people are reporting issues with the DLNA Server on this
