As I said I haven’t played with a lot of the streaming features, but I suspect the problems people are encountering are fixable with firmware updates (assuming they are not just one-off set-up issues) and central media hubs are clearly the wave of the future, so having a drive with tons of storage that can also fit that role is clearly an advantage

Great way to scam people in the name of a storage device and then asking for more money when it goes bad

This thing is junk, has people complaining all over their forums, and Seagate has done nothing to correct or acknowledge the issues
