The Canon is a great lens and ultimately will give you better pictures in good conditions just because of the better IQ on a larger sensor... but with the Canon I'm always worrying about flaring and losing contrast, and I know that I should stop down to 2.5 if I really want a sharp image

For example, I need 1/100 of a second or faster shutter speeds for crisp images, even with IBIS while free standing
