Don't fret about a lack of mega pixels, the images are killer with plenty of good data to work with

But the images got worse and worse and the light meter could not read the light on any setting on about 7 of 10 shots so that made it useless.

Alas, even though the camera has nice features - like accessory telephoto and fisheye lenses and 'live composition' mode, the test photos i took (using auto mode so it was doing the work) came out with very poor image quality

He’s learned to keep it on Program or Auto mode for great images.

Camera has F2.0 bright lens and in favorable shooting conditions produces crisp nice images

Takes great images and video, above and below water, but after only about 20 minutes of snorkeling (but several hours of "dry" use), the connector cover over the USB/HDMI ports popped open, destroying the camera.

If you let the camera select the ISO and it creeps up to take a picture in lower light, the image immediately becomes garbage
