But, it does take pretty darn good macro shots so happy with that.

I have no idea why Olympus would change the auto settings the TG2 takes fantastic macro shots with the right conditions

If you want the best point and shoot camera with an awesome macro, buy the tg4.

Macro is no good either, just as a side-note

The Photos are EXCELLENT, especially macros

The images are far better than my previous camera and nearly as good as my SLR at the same ISO.

I triple checked that I has put together correctly before leaving the house and after 6 pictures the strap just came undone and the camera almost went off the cliff as it fell
