But, it does take pretty darn good macro shots so happy with that.

This camera is not for the experienced photographer, but for traveler who just want something light and takes great shots.

Shots more than 10 feet away are not going to be great - until you get to panoramic shots of the sky, those are very good

Because the camera has a wide lens and a maximum aperture of f/2.0 and as far as I can tell the sensor has fairly low noise it could make an amazing night sky camera allowing you to get great shots of the milky way.

And I got some fantastic burst shots of friends kids jumping into the pool

I have no idea why Olympus would change the auto settings the TG2 takes fantastic macro shots with the right conditions

The result has been some truly spectacular shots that you can't get any other way

Takes great shots above water as well

Zooming became a very hard task and lots of good shots were missed because of that

I first used at Catalina and took some amazing underwater shots.
