I figured so many people liked this stand that I would ignore the one review that talked about the plastic part breaking

I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews.

I am not sure what product the people who are leaving negative reviews purchased but I can tell you it is not the "On-Stage SM7211 Professional Folding Orchestral Music Stand"

Do not mind any of the negative reviews!

And seeing as my children have already been through 7 other kinds of stands, and the other reviews for this product include plastic parts breaking, I am nervous about how this one will hold up.

I found this music stand and most all the reviews were very positive.
