I am way too old to be liking music found on "One Of The Boys", but try as I might, I could not tear myself away from "I Kissed A Girl" and it's catchy melody, nor could I do the same with "Hot N Cold"

Katy's voice is impeccable, the lyrics better than average and the music is great.

She's stylish without looking slutty, and her music is quite easy to envision being the soundtrack to many an upcoming film in the future

Hot N Cold' is co-written by Max Martin, who is always churning out pop hits with popular singers out there (Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, etc), but it seems like her music is in a category of pop all itself

If she keeps her music fresh and natural she should be around the recording scene for more than just a few years.

This is some very catchy pseudo-rock (no matter how gritty the music may pose itself to be this is pop at its purest, but people are more likely to buy it if it's marketed as rock), and I have no doubt she has more than enough hand in these songs with their unshakable melodies and smart, sassy wordplay
