    One of the Boys

    • Aside from the hit songs, there are other upbeat tracks that might get stuck in your head.
    • Hot 'n' Cold--(8)--another radio-friendly single, this very catchy track examines an ambivalent relationship where they just can't make up their minds.
    • Lyrically the record isn't exactly stellar but "you're so gay and you don't even like boys" is kind of unfortunate and it's a strange track musically as well
    • The slower tracks are the some of the best on "One of the Boys" like "Lost" (very underrated)
    • You Can Afford Me : Another one of the better tracks
    • Every track is fantastic
    • A slow, thoughtful track that slightly even questions if God exists or not
    • (anyone else feeling a little nauseous!!?), this song is another SOLID track
    • There are "non-explicit" versions of some of the more popular tracks, but the censoring of them was done worse then the standard radio mix
    • FingerprintsAll the tracks are awesome and this is not just the "I Kissed A Girl" girl
    • anyways, a funny, humorous track!
    • In addition to I Kissed a Girl, the CD has spawned the single Hot & Cold (track No.7), which went on to peak at No.3 on the Billboard Hot100 music charts.
    • Lost" is a genuine track with a calm, solemn feel
    • Nonetheless, 'One of the Boys' places Katy in front of today's modern up-and-coming female solo artists such as Colbie Caillat and Sara Bareilles because the album has serious tracks (including standout "Thinking of You') and fun, upbeat tracks ("Hot N Cold"
    • The prettiest track to never make it on the actual main album unless you downloaded it at iTunes
    • The singles 'I Kissed a Girl,' 'Hot N Cold', 'Ur So Gay', and 'Thinking Of You' are all killer tracks from this album, if not among the best.
    • I liked "Self-Inflicted" for its moderate indie rock tonality and message, decent track, but didn't so much stand out as strongly as a few of the other tracks on the album.
    • The title track, "Waking Up in Vegas", and "Self-Inflicted" are the closest to "classic" pop that she gets; the latter two are among the best tracks on the CD
    • These are four of the best tracks on the album, although her talent shines through in all the tracks on this record
    • My favorite track from Miss Perry is the stunningly sincere `Thinking of You', a track that nearly brings me to tears with its power.
    • Not one of the better tracks although not bad
    • Some of the lyrics are funny but pretty much, it's a standard, superficial pop track
    • My second least favorite track
    • anyhow..tha album came along pretty well, this girl knew how to pull it off pretty well, with some amazing tracks in here that address themes of love no one had ever addressed in particular ways
    • I liked the track far more than I thought I would (I'd name it among the best the album has to offer), noting the power in her vocals when not covered by lavish synthesizers
    • This is a very, very solid track.
    • This track is just annoying
    • while I quite like the solo in its Cure-ness, the track as a whole is listenable but after awhile it just sort of fades until you re-listen again
    • In addition to I Kissed a Girl, the CD has spawned the single Hot & Cold (track No.7), which went on to peak at No.3 on the Billboard Hot100 music charts.
    • anyways, a funny, humorous track!
    • C-I'm Still Breathing: A dark, brooding track that should have closed out the album
    • A slow, thoughtful track that slightly even questions if God exists or not
    • Not the best track, but will get stuck in your head.
    • It was the norm to get two maybe three good tracks on an LP when record companies controlled the industry
    • Few tracks are surprising, and when they are, it's not by much--good (Lost) or
    • Lyrically the record isn't exactly stellar but "you're so gay and you don't even like boys" is kind of unfortunate and it's a strange track musically as well
    • `I Kissed a Girl' to the surprising tenderness of `Thinking of You' (the two best tracks on the album, by far), Perry shows a nice range for the genre she's embraced
    • These tracks make the cd drag out and feel a bit unbalanced
    • It still feels lacking compared to some of the other stronger tracks on the album.
    • Didn't really like this track all that much at first, but I realize Katy's not in it for the
    • One of the Boys: The leading track and a lyrical standout
    • Best track here
    • The BEST track on the album is "Ur So Gay"
    • My favorite bonus track and my second favorite track period
    • Again, a somewhat haunting track with a solid message.
    • "Waking Up In Vegas" is just plain boring, another upbeat track on an album full of rousing songs containing humdrum guitar work and Perry's facetious trilling."Thinking Of You", one of the album's three total ballads, is a lament of a lover she never should've given up, dwelling on him even as she embarks on a new love affair.
    • In my opinion, the best track
    • every track is amazing and makes me want to sing out loud
    • She caught my attention with Hot and Cold as I loved the rhythm and energy in that song
    • If you like pop music , this is an A+
    • Hot n' cold: 1000000000/10 demands to be a single as well, she just delivers the message of the song sooo well, and describes ups and downs in a relationship as well as to the point of contrasting it with bipolar disorder
    • This c-d is the best
    • C-Lost: Another bright moment of genuine emotion from Katy
