The USB plugin for the LED lights is in an awkward place and not very useful for a PS4 player, but it seems it would be useful for a PC gamer.

When playing PS4 I only need the 3.5mm jack and the usb doesn’t reach the console to turn the led lights on.

If having lights is important to you you will need an extender for console gaming solely for the USB.

Secondly, I was sad to find out the USB connection only serves to power the LED lights and not convey audio.

Turns out the USB is only for power to the glowing LED lights, not for the sound or microphone, which meant he had to use all three plugs to make it work.
