The medium is becoming obsolete year by year, so I appreciated that ONKYO still supplies a straightforward 6-disc changer at a reasonable price

I always clean my discs, but sometimes they skip on this player

A few days ago the machine suddenly began eating clean discs.

However, changing discs for my superior single disc player during a dinner party was always an unwanted distraction from my guests

Really like the changer and so many features, e.g., easy to set up, compatible with my Onkyo amplifier, you can even change discs while one is playing, excellent remote control, attractive design, reasonable price

the price is right had a disc get loose had to shake player to get out

It also has a convenient, if extravagantly lighted, disc port

Checked to make sure my disc's were clean.

I have since bought a Yamaha 6600 and it is way better - quieter changing discs and better sound; worth the extra money.

I am disappointed, that the quality of the Onkyo disc player does not stand up to other Onkyo products I own, it does not play computer recorded discs well at all and even has problems on some boughten discs

I guess it is finally time to invest in a lossless hard disc drive system.

They seem prone to electronic glitches, refusal to read discs, faulty disc tray mechanism, and poor programming.

For a touch over $100 I have a nice new 6 disc CDP to listen to my ambient/new age music at night
